Habitable Moons

Wouldn't it be cool...

I have been looking at planets and I have been noticing the moons. Some of them look mighty habitable.

SO, Wouldn't it be cool to have a sub planet around the actual planet. It would have about 3 habitable blocks that would add to the main planet.

Ex: Your planet (itself) has 10 income. You go to the moon and build a market center. Now the planet income is 15.

Of course there is always the issue of balancing.

I seem to recall something about things like moons and rings providing some bonuses to the planet. . .

rings provide a research bonus, and moons provide a production bonus, i think it's 10% for both of them. so in a way it is already like you have something on the moon

It would be cool to make the moon you have a certain type of moon. Like a economic moon or a science moon.

They don't, it was pulled before the gamma I believe. It's just for decoration now.

Wrong. They still provide bonuses.
Go into details on a planet and you will se the bonus under 'Planet Bonus'.
