Crash to Desktop after End Turn

Same point every time, when I hit "end Turn" the game disappears and I'm back at my desktop. I'm only playing a large galaxy which my rig should handle, and I'm kicking ass in this game. I've spent 2 hours playing it and 4-5 trying to troubleshoot. If it wasn't such an awesome game, I'd just take it back and be done with it. Here's my debug.err... PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Update your video drivers - there were some released last month for the Nvidia cards.

Update your sound drivers if possible. If not, try disabling your sound card and see if that helps. If not, that narrows down the issue.

Try running in Windowed mode. Leave the game resolution smaller than your desktop resolution.

If you run in full screen, Try setting your game resolution to match your desktop resolution when you are playing
