Ideas about minors

I usually dont give ideas to other people but...

First of all i would like to recommend to change the way the influence operates. Personaly its hard to believe that humans can in any way influence lets say drengin ... since we are .. you know.. different. no drengin will like human. thats a little to impossible. lets change the system and let the influence work only on minors. Minors as they are now are not interesting.They tend to be only the money source, nothing else. they usually become a prey in the game. But if influence workes only on them and you have enough enfluence, you could command them to attack perhaps those drengins. they would be like little pests that make other major civilizations life a lot more of a problem. imagine one civilization (than you hate) getting attacked by all other minors. A big problem right. so there will be all out war to dominate on minors ( and not just attack them) and in this way they become serious tool in expirienced players hands.
it shall make the game a lot more of a fun.

Second, i would like to see the minors form something of an alliance to defend themselves. they sould be smart in thinking the ways to defend themselves agains others.

There are other ideas too in development.

I agree with your minor race idea's, they really need a purpose and it sounds creative

I would really like the toggle 'do minor races colonise'

Yes 100%
Yes 50%
Yes 25%
No
Minor races totally off

This would let pepole tweak them as we can regular races, some people want them, others could do without them but right now they just feel unfinished, in what otherwise is an enjoyable game to play.

These forums get hundreds of these "hey, do it this way instead of that way" threads. And they all end the same way.

It's their game, they made it this way for a reason. even if they wanted to change it, it's too late now.

Few people may agree, others won't. Personally I don't think there are enough minor races for this to work, you will lose a major part of the game if you change it that way.

First of all i never said change it NOW. its just an idea for the next 1.2 patch. sort of a big update. its just an idea post in forum area that is designed to be for IDEAS. so there is nothing wrong with it.

The thing that few people may agree and others wont is ridiculous. anyone whos brain has has something to do with thinking shall understand that minor races concept has to be changed and this is a good wa to change it.4 minor races attacking a major one is enough to cause huge problems to any major civ. especially if their algoithms are tweaked.

and please tell me what part of the game will you lose? minors? the fact that monay people are using turn off minor civ option because they dont want to exploit the game really serves as a fact that minor civs behaviour has to be changed.
