Can't use capital letters

hi guys,

quick question. How do you capitalize text in-game ? When I create anything that requires a name (either a new race or a new ship design) it seems that I can't use capital letters. Although the appropriate keyboard indicator light turns on when I toggle the Caps Lock, the text on-screen remains in lower case. Is that a game bug or do I need to adjust something, either in the game interface or the keyboard settings.

Capital letters look the same in the game, they're only a bit bigger if you look closely.

Thanks, but that's not the case here. I can clearly see the difference between the caps and the smaller case. After all, the game has numerous instances when it uses caps. I'm saying that when, for example, I enter a new ship name, I can't use caps. Same as when I create a race. I'm not sure why that is. My keyboard is an ergonomic MS wireless with all the bell & whistles you can ask for. In every other game or application that I use I never have any trouble using caps. Just in GCII. Any ideas on how to fix this ?
