You know wut would be better??? When a "fighter", be it small or tiny is made, instead of making just "1" it should make a "squad" of 4-6 planes like in homeworld You know, I didnt explain myself correctly, in Homeworld, when you make 1 fighter, it "looks" like you made a squad , but its just aesthethic, and thats what I meant, not "really" five

and I found out that everytime the AI does this they haven't researched any weapon tech, I think they are just supposed to build defenders even if they don't have weapons. I understand what you are saying, but by mission 2 they alrdy started with better weapon's tech than I do, and I started with laser 3, all I had to do was research laser 5 and
Yes I know, but this is the same thing, or opposite depending on your perspective, as having planets population increase dramatically in just a couple of weeks, com on it takes 9 month for a baby to be born!! LoL at that rate, by the time the campaign begins, planet earth' poulation shouldve been a lot more than 5 billion probably 200 biliion, if that is even possible! Maybe possible but we would just kill each other just trying to get something to eat. jajajjaa Little off topic there <
Or you can check Sword of the Stars from the preview s I saw on IGN that maybe what your looking for You pretty much wrote wut I was going to write. Check it out http://www.3dgamers.com/dlselect/games/swordstars/sots-1.0.12-demo-install.exe.html Enjoy Monc34
well in real life factories dont build 1 car at a time so 1 factory could do MANY cars at 1 time. If you had many factories on a planet, with many starports for assembly, that would speed up the production per planet a lot. but of course this is a game, and that would unbalance it badly im pretty sure he mean that more starports "could" builde more ships, since factories are "mass procudtions" centers. think about it many small parts are made, then assembled on space at Zero G, MUCH fas
OMG exactly the same thing happen to me and it was F***ing anoying!!!!!!!1 Same settings, v1.2, mission 1 and 2 on tough. OMG for 6 years the AI built defensless "defenders" <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc
Honestly, if you spend like $50 you could quite probably buy a far better graphics card than you have in the box now. In that I would have to agree with you http://www.pricewatch.com/video_cards/ Just Glancing at pricewatch I can see the 6600's are dirst cheap by now, and it probably is 10 X's faster than a geforce 2, thats so
Dude she was totally goa'uld! So, I'd still tap that. LOLL yeah, and the daniel on the dhd while the vaala-like saying, Im pregnant, and next scene the other guy saying, BOOM that hit you in the face. LoLLL The
Azrune: You're posting (with the occasional random spam thrown in) on a site about a turn based space game, where you deal with alien races. You have long lost all right to call anyone a geek. Not only that, if he saw a post he didnt like, why the hell post in it then??? that makes no sense to me at all... <img src="http://ima
I am sorry but you are mistaken, 91.31 DOES NOT support geforce 2 series, heres the proof http://www.nvidia.com/object/91.31_winxp_32_supported.html for the drivers that DO work here is the link http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_71.89.html Enjoy the game IF you can Monc34
Found this looking at wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Furling_%28Stargate%29 /Qoute- Several unnamed races have appeared in Stargate continuity that could in fact be the Furlings. Possible candidates include the Salish Spirits or the Giant Aliens from "Crystal Skull". When Executive Producer Robert C. Cooper was asked "Will we ever meet the Furlings?", his answer was "Who says we haven't?"[1] The Asgard give no indication that the Furlings are dead or gone, nor do they state that
Yes I know they were part of the 4 Race alliance, and are the ONLY race that havent been shown till this episode, but if you wait till the episode begins, after the planet blows up, she says that didnt happen and no 1 would believe it. The humans become the 5th race, after SG1 goes to P3R-272 in the "Fhe Fifth Race" episode and he goes to the Azgard galaxy, first episode to use all 8 chevrons and the

Well Ive been playin the campaign all day without problems, and I dont have any problems at all, no sound glitches or cursor disappearing or anything. All is ok, is just next time I upgrade my drivers Ill have to be more careful on how I do it just in case it has problems with GalCiv2. And it was only this game that had problems till I fixed it, and I play a lot of Battlefield 2 and Prey with no problems at all. Thx for taking the time to respond. Monc34
I think you mean that when you reaserch a new technology, you get make better ships that can be available on the next game using the same race and hulls, they will appear when the require technologies you used to make it is reaserched again. For example you reaserch Medium Scale Building and you make a frigate with some "advanced" weapon like e.g.: Laser V . On the next game you will have the ship you made when you reaserch Mdeium hulls and Laser V. hope this helps. Monc34
I have been using Nvidia cards since they bought 3dFX way back, even owned my own voodoo cards, so yes i do know how to install drivers, but thanx for the response. If you read all the posts I mentioned that I got to fix it by lowering the resolution, and turning it back up again. I just decided to post this just because I didnt find anybody had a similar bug, so I figured they should know about it to fix it on a future patch or in time for the expansion, but by then Im pretty sure Nvidia will
Hey I also have another problem with ingame movies ive tryed to fix for like 2 months now. Ive searched the forums and read almost EVERY post about sound and video sloppynes ingame, but turning off antiliasing and lowering resolution, and using hardware cursor was thought by some ppl using low end cards like the FX5200 to fix it, but it doesnt, and its only on the INGAME interface. I know Bink has problems with this kinda thing since it also happened to me when I got Civ4 and it pissed me off a

Ok heres the thing. First time posting any type of bug, so if I missed something I shouldve posted, bare with me :/ Just Upgraded my Nvidia drivers from the March version(dont remmeber the correct number, I think they were the 82.42 or something close to that number), I saw they have some REALLY COOL new features like transparency when moving windows, etc. After that I went and started playin Galciv2 and right out of the bat I noticed that the mouse cursor war blinking and moving VERY slow,
I had heard on the Science Channel, on Cosmos with Carl Sagan, that the Universe had infinite paralel universes, with all the choices that you coudlve made did happen and have happaned, so in a sense if you did go back in time and killed your granfather, you were born, but on the paralel universe you came from, but on the paralel universe you killed your grandfather you didnt get born. So lets say, on another universe the allies lost ww2, or napoleon won on waterloo, stuff like that you know. An
(who needs 750 to 1500 a turn in trade when you're making 20k+ a turn ?) I say I would have to agree, but I do trade with my close neihgbors not for money, but to make the AI have good relations, wich in turn they will rely more on me on trade, even if they dont get much either, theyll be friendly. This I see as a good thing, since in almost all
