In v1.2, we're going back to our original GalCiv combat mechanic -- attacker attacks and then defender gets to shoot back and then it looks to see who died. The attacker still has the advantage of being able to pick the time and place of battle but it's no longer quite so overwhelming an advantage and will encourage ships that have (gasp) defenses on it.

I updated from 1.0X and it shows as 1.10.12 in SDC but 1.0X.1 in-game. Well, at least SDC still recognizes GCII

Well, i dont know about lohengram, but all mine use CE jewelry. I wonder if those woudl work if you put them in - could you use them, and just not be able to put those pieces into your own ships, or would the pieces just be "missing"?

Everytime i click on a ship thats being upgraded from the ships & planets window, after having saved, quit and loaded a game, i CTD.

Havent tried running it on my lappie.. should be fine apart from the 64mb vram on the fx5600. If it does run itll be great, i spend about 4.5 months a year around the world...

Its not only you guys who have the NV cursor issue... EVE Online has it as well... I've had it on my laptop's 5600 and i know ppl with 6x00 have had it as well.
