Well, the site is back up, but I haven't heard, not has anyone else, what happened.

It was working this morning as well. I wonder if Tech paid the domain fee, and if not, someone may have grabbed it with Spore using The Galactic Core as one of its key words

Drengin transitioned the Core to Tech the last year and we have not seen him much at all since then. His wife appears now and then, but she is busy with 4 kids at this point. Tech is the owner of the domain at this point.

Just a post to ask if anyone can PM Technician from the Galactic Core and ask him if www.TheGalacticCore.com has been hijacked or if he forgot to pay for the domain name. weyrleader

I had the Dread Lords appear. I immediately sent a transport with 2000 troops and took the planet before they could expand. they had 40 population and killed about 500 of mine before I wiped them out. If you ignore them, they will win.

Good morning diplomats. I see we continue to forge ahead in the Meta. Appears that the Oracas have died and may soon slip into 3rd place.

I don't know - are there more medals to be had? I know that some get replaced as you play more games. I guess I could try for a 1st place medal, but the way I play that hardly seems likely, of course, once you get that it could be replaced by a former 1st place medal.

It would interesting of DA were to add a feature, at some cost, that lets a ship go into hyperspace and appear somewhere else, aka Space Rangers 2. If you make the price right, it may not lead to a lot of cheese, or limit how many ships of a given race can hyper-transit to the same parsec. Any version or expansion of such an ideas could solve both the speed problem and the giant map problem.

Ok, suggestions for improvement in the Official Meta: 1. Be able to delete an empire that you founded - currently cannot be done. 2.
