How about a Candy Mod. You could take all the major candys as races. So the M&Ms would be one and then you could have the evil Peanut M&M. The could have different M&M style Ships. Other races coulds be the snickers or the butterfinger or mounds ( all Female race ) maybe even the milky way race. I would say that this is a bug. We should be able to align and build all the structures available to that Alignment. If every AI can build the improvements, then we should be able to as well. I think I may post this in the bugs thread.
I have checked there and have seen nothing. I want to be able to set my alignment on the very first move of the game. It seems that if the research is researched I should be able to set my alignment just as I am able to set my government. Its not really the buildings or wonders that I am to concerned about.

If you look a little bit down in the forum, I have already suggested this. Not much attention has been givin to it at this time.
I think this way is the best way. I would not sell my resources for anything less than most of the players planets. I however have been able to buy minor races planets for all my tech and all my obsolete ships. Pretty funny really. I get rid of ships I don't need and get a good planet in return. I lose nothing in the deal. So basically the minor race go extinct for all my techs and ships they will never use. Its fun doing it when you see another races transports getting close to invading.
I would love it when I place a fleet on top of a starbase and hit guard, that it would actually do that. I don't know how many times I have been attacked and have had my starbase destroyed before my ships every get attacked. I would think that if my ships are guarding something like that they would be able to fight with the thing they are guarding, not wait till its destroyed to even get the change. I would like to see a tech that would allow you to attack without causing a war. Say you could build long range high yeild anti-matter missles and you could make the missle look as though they came from another race or like they were just flotting around forever until they found a target. Well I guess the place to start would be to have all the groups that are working on mods of the variuos types to bring there work together afters they are done nd put them together. Would any ofthe groups here be willing to do something like this? The tech tree thing can be figured out as soon as it is available if it becomes available. Not sure if this was mentioned before, but I thought it may be kind of cool. I am however not a modder and really am not interested in learning. I would rather just play them. I agree, MOM was great. I wasted many hours playing that. Would love to see a updated version that used the same style of game play. I would also love to see a redo of the first X-COM. Now that was probably on my top 5 games of all time. Still very enjoyable to play.
My suggestion would be an enhancement. and would allow me to creat fleet of more than 2 dread and little fighter to sacrifice just to get an advantage
I am for anything that will allow me to target the most powerful ships first. Not the one shot kill ships.

I would love to see a few of different things. Although one of them may just be too much for an expansion. 1st) I think it would be cool to have a blind and random tech tree. Say you are researching space weapons; you would not always get mass drivers, or missiles or beams. It would be random. As would defense. The only way that you could get into other categories is to either steel the tech, trade the tech or get it from conquest.
Guess that is possible. I usually ignore them in certian types of games. But why would it go the full distance at first then get knocked back down? Would it not make sence to have it only go the max distance of the resolution from the very first move
In the most recent game that I am playing I am seeing an issue with the speed of constructors. This is the only ship that has had the problem. After i load the ship up with engines I have a total of about 57 movement points. The first time I move the ship it goes the 57 spaces, but then it will only go 11 after that until it reasches its destination, and on the ship stats screen the spped is shown as 57/11. I do not have access to any screenshots
I have noticed this problem as well. In my current game I have been using large ship fleet, so I get no more than 5 dreadnoughts per fleet. I do this to maximize firepower. So when I come up against a fleet of 11 ships of 2 dreads a battleship and the rest fighters, I want to take out the big guys first. There is no was with my defenses that there little ships are going to do a damn thing to me and I can kill them all mostly with one shot, but it s
