Hey eerybody. Uh... this is a rather noobie question but ow do you mod the A.I races? I mean, so that they actualy play as what you have given them. I edited the .xml but that didn't work. Any help at all would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in Advance.

I've noticed that in my games the AI makes billions of different ship designs. Wouldn't it be better if they just made a few and upgraded those designs? It is so anoying every turn seeing a new tpe of shp built. Also it would be cool if the computer gave some names to the designs instead of the numbers. Like the Altarian Crusaider and the Drengin Vengance and stuff. It's a brilliant game, just this just irks me a little.

How do I play GC2 in a window?

Alright, hi everyone. On these forums alota people have stated that theywant aircraft cariers, and I think I have figured out how they could work. To start, limity how fast Tiny/Small hulled ships can move, like mabey make a max hull speed of 5 pc a turn. And make ships with hulls larger than Small take a long time, mabey a year to build, so fighters don't become obseleate. Also put in the actual combat window, fighters are faster and therefor less likley to be hit by enimy weapons. Then add a C

Hey all. I have been playing this game for quite a long time, and I haven't hade a single space shark if pirate attack. They were common in GC1, and I'm wondering whether or not there even in ths game? I would love to see the space shark attack my ships in the new full battle window, and see what it's weapons look like. TIA. The Great Zamlord

If I know that I'm going to win, I set up the A.I so that I will lose, by giving them all my tech and money. Mabey a few ships as well.

How come the A.I that are my allies only go to war with the person I am at war with when I'm are winning, and claim MY spoils of war, when the second they go to war, I get forced into it right off. I have lost two games because of this.

No one has to use the cheats. Lets just leave it at that.

Mabey their moral went down 'cause they increased taxes to spy on you?

Yeah, it would be cool to have the minor become majors, and mabey see the major swap with the minor, but become something like the "Arcean Rebellion" or something. Though I don't want another senario like in GC1 where the I-Leage ends up slaughtering every power in the galaxy. Just have them become formidable, but not slaughter everything unless the other major races are doing nothing.

If they do putthem in, to balance it they could cost like 50000bc to build, and each race could only have one. And mabey it cost something to move. Also, requirements like you need to own at least one military recource to build and need a certain type of building, along with the reaserch requirments.
