I have gone to Impulse. I have downloaded Impulse. All I get is a list of games for sale. NOTHING showing where to get patches. NOTHING at all. It is very frustrating. I download the program, take space on my drive and get a huge list of advertisements for other games. Can anyone tell me a link or specifically where and/or how to find patches on Impulse? I would appreciate it.
My version number is 1.0. I purchased the game when it came out. My computer had to be reformatted and I recently wanted to play again. I like the game. You say there is a version 1.5, but I cannot see any references anywhere to any patches for it. Can you tell me where to get the 1.50.135? Thanks, Dralmar
I am totally frustrated trying to find the patches for Dread Lords or any info as to whether or not any such patches exist! Are there any? and If so, where? I have been all over the forums, into impulse, stardock central. Do you have to make it so difficult to find the info?????
Ok, I have been back and forth between here, Impulse, Stardock . . Are there any patches/updates for GC II Dread Lords? If so, where can I get them? I click on the "Update Game" when the game screen comes up and I get sent to Download Impulse, which I already have and have an account. When I do a search - nothing. This is frustrating. I did register (I have an id in the profile). Anyway I just downloaded 1.05 and have other problems. I like the game alot but why should there be so many bugs?
I disabled my firewall too. I have seen some posts about saving over previous games, but it is funny that each time I load the save it gives me a different turn.
What is the "load backrounds" option (on or off) do? What is the "user defined playlist" do? What does the shields changing sizes on the economic sliders indicate?
I clicked to submit my first game and it went to the main menu without any kind of indication that the score was submitted. I went to Metaverse put in my "nickname" and it says no game is found. I had saved the game just before the win, but each time I load that save it takes me back to various turns before the end. Once it took me to the last turn, I got the victory and score again and tried to submit - no luck. Now the saved game is many turns before the last one. What gives?
