i reckon some add-ons (eg armour, life support) should be a % of hull space. it may be then that if you armor a cargo chassis, you won't have any room left for a colony pod.....

i like the drop down icons, but agree constantly having to click on them is a micromanagement prob, specialy when the build queue is still ongoing. i suppose on large maps the icons will soon "overstack", in which case, maybe only a planet build notification drop down icon when the build queue is finished? i assume there will be some governors incorporated at some stage, so don't know how that might affect things.........

in restrospect, i think point 4 and point 6 are linked ie the transport didn't 'die' when the invasion failed. 9. when taking an ai planet, the planet sometimes produces an ai generated ship after a few turns, despite having no starport!

i'm into strategic ship design, but am not personally into the bling element as I'm easily pleased by basic designs - tend to use the base generic hulls and just fill 'em with goodies. I'm wondering whether the bling should be seperated from the strategic, perhaps by having a hull design screen, where you can bling up your small, medium, large, cargo etc hulls and have them saved as your generic hulls for strategic ship design. this would mean, perhaps, that the star

the gc1 metaverse is still going (although a little slow and problematic - i believe it's in the process of being moved over to a new server). i submit the score with no firewall (i have mcafee too) as i have found that this is the only way it gets through. there may be other issues with your player id, player nick, email etc. try submitting with no firewall, and if that fails perhaps post a note on the gc1 forum and someone smarter than me will work our if your play

3) I built a colony ship - or at least I tried to. It said that it should have only taken one week but it never built anything. On the main map screen where it says what is being built at a planet, it said colony ship but had a long number like 45688912 beside it - not sure what it meant but I thought maybe that was the true number of weeks and
