Great thread, my two cents. I truly enjoy the grand scheme of conquering the galaxy starting from customized race design all the way to customizing ships... and tactical combat. Moo2 somewhat spoiled me in that regard, I had no problem with the simple 2d map and turned based combat.

Hi, I preordered GalCiv sometime last year, then cancelled that preorder and preordered it from another site that allowed me to get into the beta. Now my problem is I don't have a record of where that secondary site was. Could I get a link to the site that allowed beta testing when preorders were made from it. I'd like to find out where the copy of the game I ordered should be coming from (I think they may be waiting on me to contact them before the

I preordered with the hopes of checking out beta as well, didn't realized there was another method (Total Gaming) of ordering that opened the privelege of playtesting. Oh well hopefully I'll get a chance to try it out in beta 3
