I was only able to build one once in GalCiv I. I played on easy mode so I could get one, but I had lots and lots of fun with it. Are they in GalCiv 2?

My behavior has become completely irrational. I didn't sleep last night because I was thinking about designing ships using an interface and parts I've not even seen. I'm a recovered GalCiv I addict, and it appears I'm about to fall off the wagon later this month. I have a question for beta players. If I can get wiped out by poorly choosing my offensive/defensive design strategy for starships, what's the best way to find out what the other guy is up to? In GalCiv I, it didn't really matter much. The race was to get to Dreadnaught before, or at least about the same time, as the other top players. It seems to matter much more what the choi
