It is also on your side of the panels, with the treaties that you can propose to them.

Or Flintlockes....or Penny Arcade. It's great!
This is an awesome one. Keep it up man!
I think that the saddest part of the whole multi-player debate is when people think that EVERY game MUST have multi-player ability. It has come to the point that it is totally expected. I feel for the people that bought the game expecting it to have multi-player even though it never once mentions it. That being said, I think that GC2 did one thing amazing through its use of single-player only, that many people may overlook. When you can only play against a computer in this kind of ga
Did they have any Military resource starbases built up? Or for that matter did you? Or you could have your main fleets escort in 5-10 constructors and have them load up mass driver defense bonuses and then beam and missile attack. I know, not the best idea ever, but it is an idea.
I will just start designing a ship and then think of a name that suits its look and possibly intended purpose. A fast, long, small hulled pointy ship? Dart. Many pointies? Claw (or Tiger's Claw for Wing Commander). Other names that have come up are the Space Tiger, Overture\Finale (for the last ship that I design in a game), Excalibur, Gladiator, Hammer, Goshawk, Stilleto, Dark Knight, Righteous (when I play ultra-good), Wasp, Nova\Super Nova, and then some other random names from sources s
Well, GC2 doesn't have a late-game killing memory leak like BotF. Also, BotF was really kinda crappy. Like, Star Wars Rebellion crappy. The license was the only thing holding either of them up. Oh, also GC2 has more major races, not just 5 total and then a bajillion minor races. Plus you can make your own. Now, keep in mind that even though they suck, I still love to play them both
I think that the custom race points works out fine. Yeah, it may not be fair, but I always use a custom race and usually clean house on challenging (finishing up a game and then going to go up a difficulty lvl....*eek!*)
Aspirin anyone?
Like Kyro said, that sounds like a bug with their super ability. They are just giving you a couple ideas to work around that bug until it gets taken care of.
Well, that goes into the 'Whoopsy!' category.
Usually any bug present in a cross-patched save will end up in staying there. Just one of those annoying little things that make life interesting....or frustrating.
It seems slower to me, but that is mostly because my system sucks and I take a lot longer per turn (I am #3 in the galaxy and at war with #'s 1, 2 and 4).
So they put on a Shield module and then they get +2 against beam and +1 against missile? Or is it just that they are providing MORE than they should off type (square root of it I think)? Personally I haven't had too much of an issue with this, but I can see how it would be a devilish bug on higher levels and with huge fleet battles occurring. I feel bad for anyone that has dealt with that bug.
Um...Huh? Wha?
WWW Link Good job on game of the month!
I usually stick about 1\4 engines, 1\4 defense, rest weapons. I may still lose ships, but they don't get as continually ground down. Works for me.
I think that the AI needs to start off the colony (no matter the end goal of it) with at least one factory. When I invade and they have 2 factories, and a farm in que but have already made a starport and have every terraforming tile in que before it....it just is really really stupid.
Now I haven't done a whole lot with Objectdesktop, but can't you just re-name then re-target both buttons? That seems like it would be easier (or at least wouldn't be too difficult. But like I said, my modding experience and OD usage is minimal).
While I tend to agree with you, in that I would LOVE a game with a workable 3D interface\play area, did you ever play MoO3? It had a 3D galaxy and while it was MASSIVE (basically the difference between a regular RTS and Supreme Commander) compared to all the other games, it was very hard to work with. While that is also partly due to the 'hyperspace' lanes or w\e they were, it is something of a gamble for developers. If you get it wrong, then it really doesn't matter how good the rest
You can also see if it is on your computer by getting to the DL launch screen and clicking on the switch chapters button.
Not to mention the outfits....*shudder and drool*
And also read any review and see either 'Cons:' or 'Bad:'
If it does that you can reclick the colony and the population should be displayed correctly. I haven't noticed it for awhile, but I also usually have a huge farm planet for my colony ships and transports.
I love the AAR's that the community (and the devs) post up. They are so much fun to read. Keep it up!
