I'm a little divided on the matter of a ship pack. Mostly it's Oblivions fault with that crappy idea of payable content (horse armor - bah), generally speaking I don't like the direction this could take in the long run. Pay for every extra tiny bit even if I already shelled out good money for the game itself? No way... I'd rather include the ship

Is it such an onerous task to get up, go to your computer and swap out a disc? I mean really, we're not talking about running a marathon here. And if you can't find the disc... what do you do when you can't find that steak knife? Or some other physical object you lost. Well, the problem I have with CD
First, did you noticed that no Stardock employees have written anything in this topic it just mean that stardock dont really care about the event they've got the link removed that's what they wanted in the first place. They're probably happy that it make publicity for their game, but they would have been happy even without the publicity the event made. <br
Argh, sorry for Doubleposting...
I just browsed the GameSpot Forums and the whole issue here also entered the "Please warn about StarForce in Reviews" thread. Hehe, SF really blew it this time!
I don't buy any PC game that contains CRAPFORCE, pardon, StarForce as a Copy Protection - and I never will. I would rather give up this hobby then becoming the slave of the copy protection industry. And if its true that SF posted liks to GC2 torrents, please Brad, sue them to oblivion!!!! The release scheme of GC2 and the policy "extra value for the customer" was one of the main reasons I preordered GC2, unfortunately a big part o
I had the same problems but luckily was able to transfer the required code to a computer and e-mail this off. While a pain in the *&* the answer was quick. I received the activation e-mail within the day and have been told that this is computer specific so the only time I will need to reactivate the game is if I transfer the game to another machine. Although I have not pat
Just finished the mission where the Dread Lords appear (newest GC2 version), but the video cutscene showing theit arrival didn't play... Anybody else having this problem?
Don't know if it has been mentioned already: If a fleet and a single ship occupy the same space I have no way (at least I found none) to disband the fleet without moving the single ship away. The Disband Fleet button doesn't come up as long as there's another ship in the same location.
I often got the message "Race X is paying tribute to Race Y for keeping the peace" but I didn't find any option to ask for (or give) a turn based tribute to another race? Is the game confusing me or did I miss an option?
I just researched the complete Beam Weapon Tech tree and noticed that Subspace Blasters (which are researched after Disruptors) are weaker than the lower tech weapons? Disruptors III Size 5, Cost 70 Damage 8 Subspace Blaster Size 6 Cost 60, Damage 6 is that correct???
Allow me to tune in here as I have a range related question as well (I think): What are "Life Support" extras for the ships for? Am I correct in the assumption that they extend the range a ship can travel from the nearest StarBase or planet? And I too would like the question from the first poster explained..
wrote this in another thread but I think it fits better here: "A quick question regarding us E.U players (Sweden more precisly). If I were to buy it from Stardock now (gotta support the developer. you know ) would I get the "preorder" bonus or am I out of luck and can E.U citizens get the packaging, cd:s and manual sent to us as well? If so, will I have to pay extr
People who preordered from us will be able to get the game digitally via Stardock Central by late after noon EST (that's night time in Europe). Argh! This means I have to sit before my PC this evening and wait until the last files of GC2 pop up in SDC. By the time they do it's probably time to turn in... <img src="smiles/SadAngry.gif" bo
