It looks like a compilation of the 3 - but at £19.99 it's awfully cheap, IMHO. Not totally sure what it is :) Morten
One problem - if he's using the newest expansion, that option is no longer there. For some reason it's been left out.
Yes it's been left out, but for me, at least it defaults to "off". Meaning that when I upgrade a ship, I have all functional components visible. Asmodean
Well all this has been known for years, Brad - and I still like the fact that you are what you are :) Stardock and indeed the world would be a poorer place without you. What I don't get is how you get it all done: 1. AI coding 2. Managing Stardock 3. Representing Stardock towards associates, business partners etc. 4. Spending time with your family 5. Playing with the toys you mentioned 6. And on top of all that engaging in tons of discussions o
Congrats guys...allthough I am sure you didn't really doubt that this expansion would get great reviews, it is always nice when they do start coming in :) Again: Congratulations to Stardock :) Morten
Hmm....maybe that was worth checking out. The people with the "String not found" bug, have they installed their game via SDC or Impulse. Morten
I like the fact that espionage is part of the plan. So much coulb be done wth that, and the current solution, while good, is not perfect. I will be following developments closely :) Morten
Oh yeah...forgot to mention that as well :) I have Vista as well (home premium) and I have experienced no problems. Morten
Then, kryo, don't tell anyone that you were at work yesterday. That would only stir up more troubles ;) ;) *Asmodean runs away before kryo can hit him*
Vista may be a better and more stable OS, but it too has it's problems :) Morten
Well the power ranking has always been like that. It places waaaaay to much emphasis on military might. Who cares to have expensive ships that take up maintenance, when there is no credible threat to deal with. For me it suffices to know that I have the production apparatus to quickly crank out a powerful stellar navy and instantly become the biggest baddest boy on the block :) But for some reason, the power ranking thingy doesn't take that into consideration. Morten
It looks like English, but I have no idea what the fuck you just said.
LOL...I was just thinking the exact same thing :) Morten
Btw: I think it's a bug but you do not want to disable this feature since it builds better ships than user can.Probably minimalization tech(s) not taken into account.
Surely, you don't mean that, Lord Kiron. The autodesigned ships are all horribly slow, thus making them in effect useless (at least to my playing style) I don't really care how they look, but the fact alone that they are designed with no engines, makes the whole feature kinda moot. I might
Lol...I was almost thinking. WHOA....is this dude for real. But then I read his post. I am sure it's a setting or a technical error of some kind. Make sure you have updated video drivers, and then contact Stardock technical support, after checking all your settings :) Morten
I was getting it through SDC, and I had a constant speed of around 1600-1700 KB/sec on a 15 megabit/s line - pretty good. No...in fact that is awesome, considering that I am located in Denmark. Morten
I only see the version .86.003 available to install. Is the full version supposed to be up? I am on the US-1 as far as I can tell.
Uncheck "Show pre-release versions" in SDC and then refresh :)
Nice write up. Hanging out for the new campaign. I think you made a small oops on the desription for figure 3 though. I think it should say Arcean homeworld not Drengin again. Bit confusing.
It actually has the right caption. It confused me too, but then I looked some more at it, and realized that all captions are below their corresponding images :)
Add my name to the list. I want to read that :)
I definately think you would find upon closer examination, that Spain's or indeed any EU country's borders are much, much more open than U.S.A's :)
Yup...that was the fix :) Asmodean
It is. The 'shine' sprite you see now was always there behind the models. It just seems that the models are not showing up now for some reason.
Okay, Kryo...thanks for clearing that up :) Asmodean
I have to say, that as much as I like TA (which is a lot), I don't like the updated graphics used to represent galactic resources. They can be incredibly hard to spot (especially in an immense galaxy) and if you don't use the tactical display often, they are very easy to miss. In general, I would like to be able to search for resources in some way. Perhaps use the planet/ship list screen and expand it to include resources - that wpuld be really neat (but that was a thing for t
What's the word on save game compatibility with 1.61 saves? Asmodean
Sounds good. I am very happy to hear it is coming today
I like this idea. Would add a great element of unknown to the game. Asmodean
Labor day has come and gone Can't wait for 1.7[b]
