Framerate is a sticky issue and I don't always understand it - so what you're saying is that the framerate can never truly be above what the refresh is for your LCD? I turned on VSync for Fallout 3 when I upgraded to my monster machine and I outright noticed that while I had no stuttering or slowdowns my character actually moved slower. It took me longer to get from place to place. No joke. I turned Vsync off and I was moving at the correct speed again, even though the screen would sh

It's too late to submit my game as I decided to finish it out and removed the broken fleets, but here goes: I was fighting against two other civilizations. I had about 50 fleets of huge ships (52 logistics, so 10 per ship), stationed at my borders and protecting most of my starbases. All of my planets had moved to production as we'd finished virtually all research available. It was an arms race, with the other two weaker than I was, but allied and together probably more

I've installed a fresh version of GC (after removing the previous). No enhancements. No alterations. No cheat codes. I played games in both GC1 and AP and tried to post them (AP was strange. If I didn't win, I wouldn't even get the score screen or the option to post to the Metaverse). I checked my firewall (McAfee

l borders, just kind of an influence area. You can't really control space, and that is the problem. I like the treaties, but that seems a bit much. The simple treaties we have now would suffice.
