Quoting g maiden I also think it should be renamed, and moved since it doesn't give an espionage bonus anymore.

I originally had this problem with galactic civilization lore to my interpretation there were five good, five bad, and two neutral. I agree with mabuses umteen posts ago. That there should be four each. The iconians are afraid, and that makes them neutral. The korx are super entraperneurers and that makes them neutral. But there now need to two more neutrals. So your saying humans are neutral. I actually would make krynn neutral. OK if draft are good which good guy is neutral that would eithe
Sounds good when your done can you link to them. Actually after the previous patch I thought you were done, but you kept patching the game till they came out with another latch now your saying your done. I thought you were done last time. Please make a link to your mods when your done.
The humans are basically neutral on any game, and probably in real life. I usually changed their alignment to evil because they joined with the drengin, and are super instigator. The krynn never fit as good lore wise. In dark avatar they were jihadists. This is a holy war that doesn't end until you either convert, or destroy your enemy how is that good.
Have you gone to the stardock store.
Thanks maiden with your suggestion that never occurred to me to try that. Hey I was wondering are you going to make this a mod in case stardock waits to come out with another update, or not come out with another one at all. That way everyone can enjoy your changes.

When I'm in the trade screen I right click on a trade good, and it doesn't tell me what it does.
Quote Maiden reply 85 Hey if you want white ships check disable unused textures in options. Serves me right for trying to make a old as good as possible since my hardware can handle it.
If I unload unused textures, then you get all white ships.
I'm bad I was trying to optimise an old game by upping it's graphics as much as possible. I selected unload unused textures, and lo a d behold I got white ships.
All the ships are white is this intentional!
The ships has no color. There all white.
Tioken it sounds like you might have the same problem I did. All the stardock says if you have the installation file on your computer not if you installed it. I used file explorer to do things, depending on the version of windows you use you may need to use user accounts, or computer instead. In your downloads, there will be more than one there is an install file for gc2 2.2. Not sure about exact wording it is an executable file. When you find it run it. Start the game, and if it doesn't
What happened it created two separate folders under stardock. The first was galactic civilizations 2 ultimate. The other is galciv2. The first had a desktop icon. The second didn't. The first was 2.04. The second was 2.20. I wasted a day figuring this out not sure who's fault this was. My new question is will your other two mods work with the new patch, or is there no point. Are they stand alone mods. Should I delete the first folder
Q.uestion what happens if I download your other 2 mods for the 2.2 patch
Wow they created a second version of the game instead of overwriting it. That was the reason it wasn't changed. Qfolder uestion what happens if I delete the 2.04 folder, and keep the 2.20 that just says Galactic civilizations 2 2,20. I know the one that doesn't say ultimate is the patch. I'm worried if I delete the Ultimate folder it will mess up my game I have two versions of the game one is 2.042 the other is 2.20. Two separate folders under stardock.
Go into file explorer, user accounts, or computer depending which version of windows you use. Under toa older there is a dark avatar folder, and I think a dread lords. Eventually you will find the exe versions for each. On dark avatar, and dread lords right click them, and make them menu shortcuts. I've done this before that is how you make all three games playable.
Hello I can run the game, but the main page says 2.04 even though I downloaded 2.20 from stardock, and installed it. Did you forget to change the version number on the menu, or did the latest patch not install. Can someone who installed the latest patch check what version number it says on the opening menu please.
Ok my question is anone else who patched the screen when the menu pops up does your game also say 2.04 instead of 2.20.
My question have anyone that knows for sure that they upgraded to the new patch have checked the main menu when you first start, and does it say 2.04, or 2.2.
I downloaded of the stardock website it says it's downloaded how come the game still says 2.04. Edit never mind you created not overwritten a second folder. That was the problem.
Here's a couple more ideas. The first one was inspired by the korath when I saw they had a fear tech giving them a diplomacy bonus when I realised how needed the your were. We could expand the fear tree to replace the diplomacy tree, and give it to the yor, drengin, korath, and maybe the krynn. Maybe include a influence penalty if you don't include the krynn. As far as diplomatic translator's goes it could be changed on the fear tree to brainwashing something, hypnotic..., or mind
I disagree with some things about the yor in the vanilla game they were nerfed to much. Please make them stronger this time around. I would like to see a stronger ai. Probably the weakest on the game were the dominion of korx, arceans, drengin, and the yor. According to game lor the drengin should be the strongest. Maybe not tested against the krynn. Then the terrains. Then the yor. Then the altarians at least really good defensively. One thingI never understood about the korath
I been trying to play Distance worlds, and is getting confused to many screens. What is a good stradegy.
