If I'm remembering it correctly it create a second download folder. Your desktop icon is for the old folder. In computer or file explorer go to stardock I think the galciv2 folder find the executable. Make an icon. At least twilight works. You can delete the other folder.

Well about governments two things could be done if you want to change this. First of all by removing most economics, and all governments this left the Yor crippled in this area that is why they brought back the governments. One solution Gunauthor came up with was make it where everyone had governments, but different kind of races had different kind of governments. Now my idea assumes along Brad's first train of thought with this is that the Yor wouldn't have economics or any governmen

I don't know(The warp drive is limited in that it can be used only on one ships where the warp field can be expanded to include several ships to increase the speed of the whole fleet making this more efficient, and saving space to more importamnt stuff than just engines) just an idea on a possible description what do you think.

I don't know if this helps, but considering balance, but still different. If someone had a cheaper tech, but it was more expensive, or bigger then it would still be fair depending on how you play. What I came up with hear considering 12 different tech trees is considering you have three attack three defense. Stronger, but bigger guns. Weaker, but smaller guns. Stronger, but more expensive guns. Weaker, but less expensive guns. Cheaper, but bigger guns. Smaller, but more expensive guns. Bi

I see your point about the official version, except the game kind of already had this with other races where some of the prerequisite modules where in other major races tech trees requiring you to trade with other races. To have all your star base modules. You would just be expanding this, and switching it to minor races is all.

I'm going off memory from reading both posts, but if you ask it's reliable. 1. Stargazer were eliminated because the AI doesn't use anything above 100. 2. Starbases were reorganised because you couldn't build all the star bases because some of the requirements were in some one else's tech tree. Requiring trade to unlock modules. 3. Some techs were classified in the wrong section. Others were reclassified so the AI could use them better. 4. S

Havent played stelerous but in distant worlds they felt small empires were just as good as large empires wherevis the historical equivalent to that. I would give them kudos for their automation if you like that kind of thing. I like big galaxies but the documentation was useless as far as learning the game. I got lost in the charts since manual exploration was pointless.

Reply 169 just because you downloaded it that doesn't install it. You have to find the executable in your downloads to install it. Once installed it doesn't create a shortcut or icon. It just keeps the old. Now you have to go to the folder there will be two what you want is galciv2. Make a shortcut, and icon from there, unless you want both versions delete the other folder.

Numbers are real. Groups are real. Atoms in the universe is finite. How we use numbers probably comes from us. Infinity is relative. Infinity counts forever starting at one, so if you started counting all the stars in the universe. You would not reasonably finish. As far as topics are concerned this post is used up. As far as dark avatar that is the easiest of the three games.
