the only problem is the easyness of 5 snipes compared to a stun from demigod 1+ snare from demigod 2+ silence from demigod 3
5 snipes would be the most epic win... ever. Just imagine, 1 minute into the game, everyone aims at one Demigod and shoots. However, the cost would probably be pretty big against good teamwork. The cast time is pretty big, and while you do kill one person, the other team can probably kill like two or three of you because of the large
So my question is, why didn't Demigod use a similar implementation? It is acceptable to expect the host to be able to open ports (even Battle.net requires this for custom games), and it would have saved all the development and user headaches since the game launched. Can anyone give a good reason why?
That is a very good point. Though a majority of P2P games and just multiplayer games in general do not require you to port forward at all to play. With Demigod, you can'
He said his ports are forwarded. About Azrail..? Really?....
A quick CTRL+F of ports and port both resulted in nothing except for my post and your post.
About Azrail..? Really?....
There is an option that you can check to enable pause. It is in the lobby, you click Advanced Settings or Game Options or something. Hit ESC instead of F10 to pause and bring up the menu.
Dude, get a refund, gtfo, and stfu. Because if you listen very closely... very closely... you can hear... the sound of no one giving a crap. No one gives a crap that you think Stardock is stupid, or Azrail is stupid (both of which I find false). This "fix" is going to take time, and if you and your ADD-addled generation of tweens can't wait, then don't. No one cares. But more importantly, from your post I seriously believe that you probably could play the game if you ever learn to
Yeah, Norton and McAfee can suck my big male genitals. AVG is free, but I find it to be more of a resource hog than BitDefender. Not free, but very convenient and I have had a great experience with it. Game/Laptop Mode works very nicely with gamers, and the Ignore/Exceptions list is also very handy. Well, there really isn't anything you can do if someone is too stupid to turn off their anti-virus.
... does this still work online? Please note that many of the UI Mods that have worked in the Beta can get you banned I think... or maybe they dont' work. I dunno...
Lol, I bet you want to buy the second copy for half off then return the first for a refund .
You... are a genius.
anyways i find it much more intersting to play with or against girls it makes me nicer during the game play, and when i win or loose to a girl its a whole new thrill
um... i very lonely male kitten lulz i wuz wonderin if gurl kittens play demigod lulz cuz i dont talk to them irl lulz. +1 Azrailx!!!
Too many people to give the %50 coupon to. I could sell it on eBay also [e digicons]}:)[/e] . Very glad to hear that this is fixed. And the demo, I believe that it should be limited to custom games and only on a few maps.
Um... The other team still gets stats and favor if you leave I believe.
I found that a high APM has helped me with the bug. Simply moving, then reissuing your order can fix your bug. Frankly though, if your APM isn't high enough to make this bug unnoticeable, then you probably wouldn't have been that good anyways.
Ignore Chaosnaska, he has done nothing but trolled. I'm playing fine right now. Did you establish a static IP? If you are letting your router pick your IP for you, it might be that your router has switched your IP address. Double check your IP address and the IP address you have set your DMZ to, even if you are sure you set up a static IP. It might help.
Vanilla Demigod works fine for me. I find it quite annoying joining a Custom Game and forgetting to check the game settings, only to play on some ridiculous settings that completely ruin the game. My fault, but it is still annoying.
Do not play single player. It really makes the game a lot worst, trust me. Playing 2v2 is a lot of fun online, and single player skirmish is just the same thing except the bots are frustratingly stupid.
Ehh... there were definitely more people around before and I have seen more Custom Games before. Really sad, this was a really good game.
Well if you were good you would be able to take them 1v2 >.> ... Or you can play Skirmish or Custom Games. I prefer Custom Games over all for that matter.
No teamwork? Welcome to pubbing. Get use to it. And just because your country is very smart doesn't make you smart by default. Hell, for all we know Ukraine might be a country full of geniuses, and the only thing that stops them from having a higher average is you.
I liked your post, it was pretty funny. However, some of the things were way too extreme. I don't know about the middle manager, because I usually play 2v2 and haven't seen them around. Mainly, its me saying stuff ("b b b b") and the other guy not replying a word. Stealing kills might lose you some gold and experience, but hey he just saved you some mana and time. I don't care if the other guy gets the kill in a 2v2, or even if the creeps steal my kill early game. It is still an offset for th
Uh, people weren't too happy with the minature at the GameSpot.com forums, so uh... yeah, I don't think you are missing out on much. Other than that it looks pretty much U.S. only (did you know Amazon.co.uk sells multitools?).
All I can think of is... map editor. Who cares about overbalanced maps? Make your own "balanced" maps. Meanwhile, I don't really see anything wrong with the Crystals except for the Light and Dark flag differences. Why would it seem logical to give one side 15% more Mana regen while giving the other side 15% more health regen? It should be the same. Otherwise, I think that though the Crystals are very powerful, you have yours and your opponent has theirs so it should be all good. They might be
I'm pretty sure her ability to absorb and sustain quite a few hits should amount to something. A nice gank or two would be much easier if you can absorb the stuns they throw at you. It might not be as preserving as Oak's ability to make himself invincible, but you actually might last longer with the Bramble Shield. Bramble Shield will probably save you from a few Reg's looking to Snipe you as you run away too. And the nice creep killer spell shouldn't be overlooked. It doesn't do a crapload o
I think the AI is kinda stupid, it likes to die often and make suicide runs in the enemy's base. And i've got a feeling that the only difference between the AI difficulties is the amount of HP and gold they got. It's not a bad AI, it could be worse, but it's not great either...
Kinda is an understatement. The AI is completely inept and prove to be a very boring opponent indeed. Not being able to effectively communicate with them makes it all the harder. Just adding an abil
Why is everyone talking about balance and change when the game doesn't even work?
Hey Schilista, how 'bout you go back to your old account and cry using that? The health regen could use a little nerfing, not major nerfing but just a tad lower. I agree with 75%, but I don't think 80% or even 85% would even be unreasonable. Lord Erebus pretty much feasts upon aggressiveness, and a defensive LE is pretty useless. Bat Swarm al
