Hell no. Imagine waiting the five minutes to connect into a Skirmish game... only to find out that you were placed in a position that was recently made vacant because they were getting crushed. You lose and you didn't even have a chance to display your skills. How frustrating would that be?
The thing is, it's not about how right we are (or not) to complain, it's about hwat the public will think of the game now. It's a fact: the game has had a poor launch, and no matter how well they're working now, lots of people have tried the game and seen it not working for 4 days - and are not recommending it to their friends. No matter how hard they're working now, the bad grades are here and will not go away. It doesn't matter that you don't
I must admit, I tried Regulus after everybody on the forums were shouting "NERRFFFF!!!!!!" and I have rarely had luck with him. His low health just screams for Erebus to Bat Swarm and smash him in the face and he won't be clearing the creeps anytime soon unless you are willing to invest serious skill points into mines (which I find useless against other Demigods). Reg is definitely an absolute threat in the hands of a skilled player. His ridiculous range and with Maim is a great wa
THIS IS DEFINITELY AN ISSUE. READ THIS, AND LINK THIS TO EVERYBODY YOU KNOW... NOW! After hearing about the router issues, the first thing I did was forward 6100 through 6200. However, in almost every custom game I tried to join (too impatient for Pantheon or Skirmish. They take forever to find a match and frequently disconnects players but I have had no problems with custom games) I recieved an error. After hosting a couple of games, I unchecked Auto-Port and saw port 6073 as the
How are consumables overpriced? Hell, they are underpriced. How annoying is it to get an opposing DG to barely any, only to have him use a consumable? It's very annoying, so what do you do? You do the same thing. Result? Consumables outweigh skill. Who the hell cares that you just pulled a five man gank? Hit F1 and his demigod is safe. This doesn't happen all the time, but it happens a lot. If you need consumables to survive, then chances are you aren't as good as you think you are. <br
I'm up there. Seems that most people play the unpatched 91 version though, and a lot of people there are pirates. Still, it is a much better alternative to using Impulse to play.
Arranged Teams only vs Arranged Teams and Randoms only vs Randoms, just like in WC3 whats the problem @_@
I honestly find that this solution is the best.
In my humble opinion, arranged teams would ruin Pantheon and turn this game into the angry, elitist, mess that most of the games referenced in this topic are. It's a lot more fun to roll the dice on who your te
I liked your insight and I mostly agree with you. Also, the box says you can play with up to 9 players online. But I was wondering... how do you do that with only 8 heroes?
Were you playing against bots DeadMG? "Very easy" seems like a very suspicious way to describe a Demigod match against real players...
I will seriously be surprised if Stardock does not get this down within the next day. I have to admit that I was one of those people taking advantage of GameStop's blatant disregard, and I'm sorry for causing trouble. But my faith is in Stardock, and I am glad 1Up realizes how great of a game Demigod could be. Hopefully Gamespot will do the same and re-review the game. If not, they might find that they have a huge flamer within their ranks.
Can't wait for the ability to kick "bugged" people to be patched in. That would fix a lot of problems.
