Well, before and after the patch, it doesn't change anything : i can hardly see a situation where the strategic advantage is worth the investment. If you build defenses instead of researching novalith, pirates are not a annoyance anymore. And even if you colonize the thing, you would have to make expensive civic upgrades...

Chuck Norris can defeat a fully upgraded starbase with a colony vessel. Female Advent have hot voices to seduce Chuck Norris. It is not gonna work. Last time Advent meteor-stormed Chuck Norris, he stroke back with a planet-storm. Pirates don't accept bounty for Chuck Norris. They prefer commiting suicide. Chuck Norris can stop a blast from a Novalith Cannon with his left hand. Chuck Norris have never been minidumped. A classic one : The vasari a

The AI was indeed very good but SOASE is more complex to deal with that a classic RTS like Rise of Nations. Nevertheless, some things must be improved : just tell the IA to not throw his caps to starbase, to use repair bay to fix a capital ship after a battle and to resear

Could you explain what is Steel command ? I threw a look to the other topic but i found it not very clear for someone who didn't know what Steel Command was...There is nothing in your forum either to explain. I understood it was about a role-play with games on ICO that involves changes in a kind of more global competition and that's all.
Or did the british simply have too many to count? That would be the French, as they have never won a war in their entire history. William was Norman and not French, while Napoleon won a couple of battles before losing inevitably. Dividing fleets for example into one attacking and one defending fleet is generally pain in the ass. I think this could be automatically done with some clever algorithm. Also, I would like to see something like fleet manager in Galactic Civilisations. ..oh, and ability to name a fleet would be truly orgasmic...
Oh m

Well, as an advent player, i HATE vasari with their heavy fighters, their f****** missile turret that disables AM regeneration with entrenchement and their damn assaillants. The egg is soooo annoying too. On the other hand, TEC are a nice bit of fresh meat, ready to be devoured ! [e digicons]}:)[/e]

Ok, i installed this mod and it is a pearl of greatness ! Nevertheless, i have some points i think that should be balanced : advent carriers are now far too expensive considering they host only two squadrons. And the beam turrents are far too much expensive too : ok, they were too cheap in the unmodded version but, there, they are 4 times more expensive with no bonus in firepower ! Barren planets need gas giant colonization to be colonized. Why ?

I play almost only advent and yes, an advent fleet can destroy a twice bigger fleet with a progen and guardians but 70 kodiaks without guardians an with only 8 carriers ?! No way ! Advent progen can have about 4-500 antimatters, so they can make 10 shield regen and then 2 shield regen per minute and a half. kodiaks would be dealing something like 1400 damages each time they fire ! (auto-cannons make 20 damage each time they fire and there is 70 of them) Without a replay, i just CAN'T

I have a question : i love that stars, the pulsar and the black hole but i don't like nonatmosphere planets : is there a way to delete them of the game ? I tried to delete them from the entity.manifest and remove the files from the gameinfo folder but it wasn't enough : i get minidump. Do you know how to make it properly ? By the war, i merged Volumetric 1.13 and CB very easily and both work greatly together :)

Well, in some keyboards, like my laptop's one, there is no pause button and Sins don't recognize Print screen, maybe because it is not an american keyboard. So go to the options and change the command key for pause from the fictionnal pause button to a letter like P.
... mind you, according to wiki a 1-second black hole has a mass of 2.28 × 105 kg, so in sins terms it would probably release all it ate as radiation as soon as you turn it off or near enough as to make no difference.
Well, as E=228000 kg of matter x c^2 (c, light of speed) means 1,8*10^15 Watt of thermal power if the black hole evaporates in one second. It is one hundred billion less powerful than the sun and around 4

Well, i started at the end of this topic and went back to the first page. The furious argument was funny but interesting too. I agree with the maths of N3rull for the hull, believe me, they are totally correct. Nevertheless, i don't exactly agree about two points : -efficiency of flaks against vasari bombers. I don't have a lot of experience in flak against bombers but if flaks truly concentrate fire against bombers, i am not sure they get after the same spacecraft but maybe a
But if you attack the reveried ship, it will break free and can run away. Ion bolt doesn't have this weakness. I can have my entire fleet focus fire the target ship and kill enemy caps with ease. Early game, reverie is definitely the stronger ability, but later in the game a team of two Akkans can shut down an enemy capital ship completely, while still allowing you to focus fire it with impunity. 1) there is no autocast for communal labor to you builder ship : you need to activate autocast communal labor or take a builder ship and order him to use communal labor to a structure being actually built. For the cost, i also didn't notice anything but i didn't pay much attention 2) Yeah, the domina cruiser healing ability suks, particulary autocast. You have to micromanage it and even if you do, it's not worth hoshikos.
