So, I made a mod folder and put in KHSM for TA, and Pants political parties. Then I added my own political party to his file. Now I can't look at the civilization manager. I only modified the political parties file itself. Could this have caused the problem?

When you download the mod from the links provided on Pg 40, use 7-zip to unzip all of them together

I've been thinking that nebulas and random hazardous asteroid fields strewn throughout the galaxy would be fun, and would add that sense of terrain that many people complain about. Also, i kinda like the idea of a star randomly blowing up once every so often, and maybe a new system showing up somewhere else in the galaxy. This could cause those fun power shifts that happen can happen in r/l (ie.. a hurricane wiping out a nation in one fell swoop) but not on as grand a scale as my example.

i'm asking the general community because i don't understand why they won't unzip individually. i try to do it one at a time, and supposedly the files are corrupted, but other people have been using these files. I was hoping maybe someone who has used the star trek mod thats linked in that thread and got it to work could give me some help on opening it up. i've been looking for that star trek mod, (its stickied in the mod forum, and the links to the mod are on page 40 of that thread) and they made a link to the mod on rapidshare, but the deal is that the mod is split into 15 zip files, and i don't know how to put those files back together so that i can put the mod in. i'm asking for instructions on putting those 15 zip files back together, so i can use it.
ok, so i finally found the files i've been looking for, but the mod program is in 15 pieces :O The files are the zip files here link . Someone on that thread they figured out how to put the files back together, without actually saying how to. I'm new to this kind of thing, and could really use the help on how to put these 15 pieces back together. Thanks

i'm not sure i like this one, because it makes the game a little more complicated then it needs to be. -better proportions: solar systems "tucked" into one "square/space".You could then enlarge the "System View" where there are system "squares" for exploration, travel, ...and battle. I've seen forums all over about this star trek mod for GalCiv2, but i can't find the actual download anywhere. i see one was made by a guy names tony rodal. I don't know where to go from there. all i want to know id where this guys mod file can be found. In the meantime, i'll keep looking all over the net for it
could someone tell me where i could find a program or two i could use to make ship models for GC2? Or one i could use to change a .mod or other file type to the .x file type? Pretty much any advice for modding in ships to GC2 would be appreciated. i read the tutorial, and guide, but it seemed more complex then i could understand
Hi, i'm new to these forums. anyway, i'm wondering if theres a good star trek mod out for dread lords still, because thats the only version i have, and of course all the new mods are for the new expansion.
