Diviator; - I watched videos and read some articles on The Vault (Fallout wiki, google as that), and I don't know, but I really don't want this in FO3. It definitely ruined my gaming experience on Oblivion (a Bear something chases me, when I get down to take it down, it killed my ARMORED horse in 2 hits, and was going to kill me aswell. It was harder than any fight I had) - You can select both in FO3, the first gameplay video (part 1) shows how you choose your outlook. <p

Hmm, as far as I know, AI can use your ships if they have the tech for that and it's better than others.
I'm playing with a Terran, and have 270% diplomacy. Do your calculations :P
Ask me :D
I'm trying to test it but some guys declared war on me so dealing with them, wait a day or so :)
Nice replies guys. I forgot these things that you've mentioned and not; -Level scaling system and console from Oblivion They are trying to get a different level system on FO3 but if they intend to keep something similar with mob-scaling system, it'll definitely ruin the game. On Oblivion, it was really bad, I was level 12 then I focused on main story, and finished it at level 21. Then finished Knights of the Nine, so I'm in my Crusader armor. But my enemies, oh god, save me pl
Greetings fellow game lovers. I'd like to give some info about Fallout 3 and discuss about it. Little bio: Fallout 1 : Developed & Published by Interplay Fallout 2 : Developed by Black Isle Studios, Published by Interplay Cancelled Fallout 3 : (Codename Van Buren) Developed by Black Isle Studios, Cancelled by Interplay at 75% Fallout 3 : Being Developed & will be Publ
What version are you playing with?
I seem not to being able to edit above post, sorry for that long link that I wasn't inteding to put there :)
As DrSchneider told, it's absolutely absurd that they still keep liking me or do not break their alliance, even if I starbase hug them... Also, at the game I'm playing right now, there are 5 civilizations left. Devoured 2 with starbase hugging (were my allies) and now the remaining 4 are allied with each other
:D Nearly exactly. I have a save game before I started tech trading. Suddenly, I had 2x-3x more techs than everyone else. Let the bidding begin! :D
I agree with above. I am never able to design such ships that computer offers to me. Same components, but over capacity.
So, I've done further research to what Cruelsader has found. I'm playing as a Terran and nearly researched everything, just last missile and starbase upgrades left. I'm omitting speed upgrades from the list. And if you don't see what kind of hull that was, it's a huge one. I'll only say if it's one of the small or tiny ones. My fleet setup is: Tank: +25% defense on own influence* warp bubble* 1-2 weapons 2x +8 hit
:D
If I remember correct (probably wrong), after maso or something, AI gets bonuses to their production etc, I don't like that style of game to be honest. But diplomacy is absolutely horrible for now, in my opinion. I started and went as the weakest for like 100-150 turns, barely able to keep my economics green. Now as I've told you, I traded everything, and there are just 11-12 techs left to research. Even I forced people with treaties to attack each other and got their treaties for 1k-
They shouldn't be able to offer a tech you already have...perhaps it's a tech that gives the same thing as you have, but it has a different name?
I'll take a screenshot next time, but for example, I've researched Phasors IV and Iconians show up and try to trade my Phasors IV with Good and Evil, but I can only recognize it from the text, I mean, as techs, Phasors IV on my side shows up, but their side is empty, beca
Thanks!
On immense maps, if you set it to large clusters, AI will had a trouble with colonizing. Tried it a couple of times, if you set all stars to roam in the map (no clusters at all), AI will go insane and even will try to colonize you :P
Aah, thank you for respond :D Here is another question, due to I'm playing on immense maps, I prefer zooming out and play it as it is an 2d game, question is, can I see those bonuses with any icons? Maybe I'm missing it I don't know but, I can get a planet to 900 military (focused), and seeing an icon would be great I suppose. And another thing popped on my mind. For example, last map I played (still playing), I had a planet like that, and when I focused on research, I
Are their maintaince cost relieved upon they establish a trade route?
I'm new to this game, first played demo then got all, inc. TA aswell, bla bla... I started with Yor Collective, found it really hard then got used to it. I was able to build an immense economy at the very beginning, soon needing some tech trading as I wasn't able to obtain any economy improvements... Anyway, then I wanted to try Terrans. I started with these bonuses: Influence and Diplomacy maxed out. Then I started playing a really BORING game wi
I have a question about planets. I've read somewhere that moons or rings provide bonuses, is this true? Also, is there a limit in the game for planet classes? Because, when I was playing with my Yor Collective, Dread Lords invaded, (there was a weird thing though, I had creativity and luck, and I had 7 lucky rangers and a precursor ranger already - not to mention rapid researching), I moved my fleet there, captured it and saw that planet is actually an class 39 one. Though, I updated the game
Greetings, I'm new to this game (all galciv) but I really enjoy it. Played demo of Gold Edition, then got all stuff. bla bla bla etc... The thing is (I'm playing with Terrans, my diplomacy bonus is nearly 230% at the moment), I can trade nearly everything I want for ridiculous prices, if I want a tech, I get it for 80-200bc (it could be based on a percentage, I don't know), and if I want to sell a tech, I can just rip them off. 2nd thing is, somet
Thanks for the info. I was wondering (playing as a Terran) why my Fleet bonus ships were getting targetted first (1 for +defense, 1 for +attack and +speed).
The problem I've experienced is (Played as Yor Collective and Terrans, have to admit, Terrans are easy mode...) they do not build powerful ships. I gave them all techs I've researched (to see effects), money etc, but they were still roaming with small-medium sized ships (Drengin-Korath). And Altarians were liking me (never built a single military ship) with ++Military Power ??? Though, I built a ship and gave it to them, it changed to --Military Power and they started to build
