Though it's not as active as it once was, there is still a considerable contribution of games / scores being made to the GC2 MV. We've still got our empires, and we've still got our teammates and friends here at GC2.com. That's good enough for me. Whether we have a MV for GC3 or not will eventually be discussed, but I don't believe that's a huge issue right now. What about posting the heads-up in the Gerontocrat (or any other empire's) official thread? Post the update, then give it a week or so, or make it a personal requirement that a certain number of Gerontocrats (or any other empire's members) reply back to assure that they have heard the update. Hmmm... thanks for the info KP. I spent some time a couple weeks ago searching the MV forum, but couldn't find any thread of theirs. Guess I'll go have another look over there. Also, I know that they're fairly inactive, but they do actually have a couple scores being posted still (this information comes from the AltMeta), so I thought it would be fair not to rule them out entirely.

Thanks mambaman. This AAR is not based on any single game in particular. It's based on many aspects of the game, as well as some experiences I've had over the span of several games. If I was to categorize the settings of those games, I'd say most (if not all) are Gig., common stars and planets, common anomalies, normal/fast tech rate, Tough/Painful difficulty.
