I decided to try SmartException and will be sending it (along with the most recent save) in ('GC2TWILIGHTOFTHEARNOR - 0x614736'). The (new) crash has the following at the end of it's debug.err: Debug Message: Destroying ship Snathi Heavy Fighter M7 v11 6586. Orbiting: 1 Debug Message: Was Orbiting: Snathi V Debug Message: Destroying ship Yor Fleet 355. Orbiting: 0 Debug Message: Destroying ship Yor Fleet 422. Orbiting: 0 Debug Message: Destroying ship Altar
Thanks for the replies. :) I've tried to recreate the crash but it does not seem to be related to a specific turn. I'll include two more debug.err's. It appears that the shared variable is the 'random event begin/end.' This also appears in my last thread (https://forums.galciv2.com/317160). Regarding my previous thread, I cannot remember if I was involved in a war, but the cluster of crashes I described could easily be explained by me going from peace time, to war, and then back again. <
So I've only managed to complete one game before the crashes (one per 5 turns) chase me off. But the more I try to play, the more I notice that the crash spasms seem to only happen during combat. What triggers the bug (from a UI standpoint) seems to be anything from ending a turn, to changing what ship a given planet is constructing. Latest debug: Debug Message: Version v1.96 Twilight of the Arnor last updated on: Tue Jun 24 17:37:47 2008 Debug Message: Could no
I seem to be running into two types of crashing, both of which drop me to the desktop. The first occurs every time I try to start a new game after quiting an earlier game, so to restart a game, I need to fully quit TotA and relaunch. The second one is much more random although the do seem to come in clusters. That is to say that if I crash and reload, I will likely crash many times within the next 10 moved, but at some point the crashes stop and will not show up for 50+ tu
