Ack, don't have the save game anymore. I guess I deleted it when the insane tech increase came arround. But it was 3 300% prod. tiles and 1 100% had 3 astroids around it all giving 10mp!! It produced like a madman! (it was only 13 PQ i believe)

I've stop playing and now playing around with civ4. So I can't give any new feedback. But even if the research inflation is paired with the bonus, why does it stagnate the AIplayer too? If it's a feature they'd better make an on and off button for it. Because it's starting too annoy me quite a bit. That I can't play the game with as much fun when i've played the beta. Please stardock, hopefully you can atleast look into the matter and give some more responds!
I second! (just figured that the support as is would be enough ;)) PS Guess stellar cathography got really interesting to research if it gave this addition.
How many posts will there be needed for kryo to understand that a hotfix or reverting back to the last beta is neccesary because the game isn't fun with this bug! It's getting sheer impossible to enjoy a game when the AI isn't researching anything fasinating. While as a player you are hitting turn and hope on getting creative. I was going to say that the inflation gave a new perspective to the game but it's annoying me to bits! Kind regards, Nick
That explains the enormous fluctutions in my income! sometimes it was 75 and then at times it was 350+! Now I understand :) you just earned yourself some karma :D
No they broke it indeed! Must find a way to fix the broken MCC :p
When you cash in bigtime, keep it in your bank for the more problematic mega events you'll hit in to. From time to time i have 30k in my treasury. So I can take hits of -300 credits per turn, due to a large spy attack. Or upgrading vessles to bully back a bulleing race! But the last time i played the Yor. The MMC was still evil and did the 100% econ bonus. How much I miss it already. Maybe I'll find someway to integrate it back in to the Yor techtree and making it fit storywise :)
Because adding tech in ToA or TA whatever you prevere, is easier then ever! And I'd (hopefully the rest too) like some help rating effects! As the title explains, I'm wondering what everybody would rate an effect to? Ofcourse a moralbonus to the Yor would be differently rated then a soldieringbonus (as they already have alot :) Just to get things rolling, the Krynn have less espionage as the iconians. This couldn't be ment to be in my own perception, so I would like to add a tech+i
Don't know how big the files are but could you e-mail them? I have online space and am willing to upload them there. Rapidshare just annoys me to death.
Haven't seen any responses in the debugthread either. Hopefully they'll give some much needed answeres to the techtree questions that are unanswered! I thought to only upgrading to 19% wasn't a flaw however as the races would be less "starbase minded" Another point is the when you choose neutral or evil with the altarians they don't get any intresting stuff only when they pick good. About the Yor midgame, MCC is the answer ;)
On minor interface bugs you can also add then when you click in the utter right corner, the research screen pops up! and some other locations on the menubar it happend too. kinda hard to explane, I'll try and get a screenshoot with arrows on it soon.
Even got a +700% one, but the increment on TP cost negated it :P
[quote]One bug I noticed is that while on the planet screen, you can only buy one building per turn (as intended), if you quick-buy buildings from the civilization manager, that restriction is currently non-functional.Also, you can currently demolish buildings you should not be able to, like the Weather Control Centre and Biosphere Modulator. This has the game-breaking side-effect that planet quality can be increased up to the theoretical maximum of 72 by alternately destroying and rebuilding ei
"Uninmaganable Destruction" was at 2300+ when you start the game it then jumped to 4000+. And from there to 14000+ it's now on 17000+ but by smaller increments. And also getting a laugh from the poor AI bragging about it's superdupereviltech which actually doesn't really matter. It does however make sure you can only really tech in one way, and then you can just really forget about the rest. And just wait 30 turn before you got Planetary invasion
Rakenan, Yor economy is best run with charging stalks! Fill all small planets with stalks, maintance grid and efficiency centers! Then boost to the MCC and do a little pimp dance when you see your economy skyrocketing beyond believe!
But you can also have a negative income on your tax and increased on your tourism. There are sort of random mega events. To stabalize your economy (it's even harder in TA then in DA) you really need to focus on your economy from your first turn on! Won't spoil anything so you can find it out yourself :-) Goodluck! PS. There is atm a bug/feature that will make tech inflate at an insane rate just anticipate on it and don't frown when everything costs 4 to 5 times as
Hi, the second point I can help you with, Just check out https://forums.galciv2.com/310872 The first however seems like a big bug too, except I haven't got to that point in the game yet! But check out the bug report list and maybe it will shed some light on the subject.
Friend of mine had it with the Terran on Huge map with the Altarians. I've only playwed witht he altarians huge and though.
Joining the bandwagon on complaining like a madman about the inflation. It sucks just as bad as in real life (hehe...) Because I mostly tech to ridicilous stuff first before building up real military. I pumping out small hulls with only the best weapontech i got at that point. And then research for a decent good fighter, this evil new feature is going to ruin the game for me! I'll have to spend about 30 to 40 turns teching to plasma 3 (if it doesn't go up again). The doomsday building t
The Yor as far as I could tell have the best building in ToA, Charging Stalks. That in combination with the maintenace grid will keep your moral/population in check. So you don't get to tax alot (no 80% tax for you!) but your massive amount of population will make up for the loss of tax As far as I've found out
