The light/dark seperation is the whole reason I play pantheon ^^ QoT + Sedna + Random in a 3v3 = no kills 4 u
... Of all the possibile combinations to exemplify light/dark synergy, you pick Sedna + Queen? *facepalm*

Dark has many stuns (Charm, Grasp, Nova), a teleport (bat), and enough damage to overrun heal. I really dislike the Light/Dark seperation in Pantheon. The best 2v2 combos in normal games generally involve 1 of each.

I really don't want to sound negative, but this update really disheartens me because it shows that GPG is misprioritizing their time. Demo = not important. Yet it is "by far, the biggest thing being worked on." New DGs = not important. Stats = not important. What is important? Team Automatch (by far the most critical thing for premades) and Random Team Option (by far the most important thing

My mate tried BotS, he said it was different but not really better / worse. I'll point him to this thread so maybe he'll stop by and give his own thoughts. Myself, I think its probably better in bigger games. However, we've been doing a lot of 2v2 Prison lately. Gold is scarce and the battle is often decided well before you can complete a build. You'd be crazy to skip out on 800 HP against good teams.
For added fun, if you feel confident, you can take one monk, right click an allied DG (preferably ranged), and allow it to follow him/her into battle. Often, this has helped me keep a regulus in play long enough to farm decently
Splitting monks is definitely one thing that seperates great and good teams. I split monks at the beginning of every 2v2 that my partner and I play and it usually ends up with both of us controlling our lanes (cataract) or flags (prison, when bo

Usually on my first trip back to base I have enough for Banded, Scaled Helm, and Scalemail. Those cheap items are really efficient! Of course in some games (big maps and/or bad opponents), you can stay on the field for a lot longer without getting punished. In those cases you can buy Nimoth, Unbreakable, and Vlemish instead. But in tight games you really need to go back to base even after fights you win, if you expcet to win the next one.

1. Appeal to reason, not to authority. 2. This game is broken and seems abandoned by GPG. I highly doubt anyone takes this game that seriously. 3. Still, I find myself and my team to be excellent at this game. I don't accept that any player or team is better until they actually beat me/us. 4. Doubles are not lame, boring or OP. Saying otherwise more frequently does not make it so.
Just say both ESL and GR tournaments do not allow doubles. So there is something good consensus why doubles are broken like hell (which they are.)
"Its what other people do so it must be right." What a terrible argument.
No, not really. I'm coming out with an extra 600 armor and 500 health and +5 HPS over the monk user. I'm going to hit them harder and can absorb more hits. In an opening 1v1 on a lane I'm going to hold my own until it becomes 2v1. And let's face it, that's what really happens in a game. It doesn't matter a whit I can hold a lane 1v1 for 45 seconds and a monk user can hold it for 50 seconds. Something is going to happen in that time that will break th

Met the minions --> citadel strategy in a 2v2 Prison game last night. Hadn't really faced it before but had read about it and knew exactly what was up within about a minute. We did exactly what we were supposed to, dropped everything we usually do and maximized our counterplay. We bought our tower regen upgrades ASAP, and my partner had Ooze 2 and Natures Reckoning by level 4, and we still couldn't prevent the minions from killing our base. The main problem as I
1. Scale+banded+BotF will give you the best starting HP+armor combo to start. More than enough to hold a lane from levels 1-3. You won't be forced out before you hit the 1,750 gold mark which is when you were headed back for a Vlemish anyhow. A lot of builds say that "they can't be forced from a lane at the beginning," but when one immovable object meets another, one of them will give. The fact is you will be forced from your lane by just about an

I honestly would not be scared of massed Shield. All you would have to do is spread out your damage and coordinate target changes. I agree that defense is very powerful in this game, but I would be much more concerned about a combination of different skills synergizing together than a stacked group of any given one.
Another solid trick with monks is that if you haven't summoned them, or they get owned, or whatever, when you resummon them they'll instantly heal. Pretty useful, imo.
However, their insta-heal will not receive any buff from Healing Wind, even if Sedna is right there, and even if Sedna was the one who summoned them.
Also I saw some post where someone mentioned a "smart team would stagger their ranks of priest". What is the benefit of this? Wouldn't having all of the highest rank of priest (sedna bug excepted) be ideal?
The rule is you can be healed once per 8s per type of priest. So if two allies have bishops in the same location, a DG will only be healed once per 8s. Obviously this is a waste. If you have High Priests + Bishops, you'll be healed twice per 8s. If you ha
This is of course only one of many tournaments to come, which I hope to increase the frequency to at least bi-weekly.
Thats a great idea, if they become a regular occurrence then people can plan on them and work their schedules to make sure they're available at a specific time every other week. Participation would surely increase.

Leviathan, huh. [e digicons]:|[/e] Kudos for putting in the effort to get a player-driven tournament started. I'd be willing to help set this up, and my team would of course love to participate. I don't yet have any hard information on our availability for the specific time you listed, but I'll post again when I know more.
