Hi, thanks for reply kryo Ive got the new TA kryo hull mod version now but i think you missed the point of my post slightly, im looking for something i may have missed last time which is causing the probelm (assuming its not mod related). What im going to do is uninstall GC2 DA & Twilight completely as well as removing all of the user data, an re-install, last time i only uninstalled Twilight. Hmm the core design confuses me i always turn off the autodesign option, but whe

yeah so edit isnt working ey, CaptainYar, i think your right about the -500bc limit, i had a pretty hefty economy at the time like +600c per turn so i could afford it, that explains it, cheers

More than anything the worst thing about managing your empire is not knowing where x-planet is, ie if ure cycling through planets in the planet screen and you want to build something on it you have to know where it is in order to know what to build there, and i dont want to rememer the names and relative positions of all my planets. -There needs to be a button on the planetary inventory screen & planet surface screen that either centers the space camera on that planet OR a minimap

Well ive been playing Twilight since early betas and had this problem, then when retail came out i was told it had been fixed i uninstalled beta twilight plus the config folder and re-installed and afer painstaking cutting and pasting of beloved ship designes i found its still happening All products are patched up Im running kyro's hull mod (basterdised TA to Twilight version) think theres a pure Twilight version right & also the High Resolution graphics mod Ive pl

definately for the multitude of changes which overall make the game more complex and more fun, just dont get your hopes up for the new invasion screen, sure Stardock were slightly sarcastic in their description of this new feature but that still doesn't make up for the fact that its a turd in new clothes
I've got a 4850 and have no problems running Crysis on "High" I've got a couple OC'd profiles set up that run the fan at set speeds to control heat. Best card for the money far as I'm concerned.
Thanks for the swift replies, out of interest what OC did you manage on that 4850, ive read anything above 700 2200 is pretty much unatainable which is only a moderate overclock. But since it performs great anyway, i dont think its a big issue

Well saw this today and am sorely tempted, http://www.ebuyer.com/product/148468 Its 110 pounds delivered thats $198 including tax to my door, notice that its a redesigned card, 1.5inches shorter than reference with a dual slot cooler that runs 19 degrees cooler than the standard ati card. Seeing as i have a 7900GS at the moment, would it be rank self indulgence to buy this now considering it handles most things at max pretty well, save crysis of course. Looking

Okay GC3 is a long way off so suggestions for it cant be small tweaks to GC2 gameplay or slight variations, wholesale changes are the name of the game. Top of the list - 3D maps - holy grail of space games the problem is it can be really hard / impossible to effectively play this way, things are obscured, the play area becomes too massive and difficult to control and its so easy to become disorientated. Having said that if they get it to work it would be the greatest addition.
1. A good starting position (bonus tiles in morale and production, nearby planets ect.) This isn't improving in my book, its more like getting started with an advantage.
I Agree, but there is such thing as a hopeless starting position ie in a three star cluster in the corner of a large galaxy. Trevor, i would bear in mind that tesb who most solidly answered your question has his stlye and although i agree with most things he said that's only one style of

haha hilarious, sounds ridiculous What a shame, the original was very realistic and the characters worked really well, one of my favorite "little" films. Cheers for saving me four hours !
I kept playing Sins for about another 10 days, and the burn marks have become permanent. They don't go away even if the monitor is left off for two days. With the proof in my face every day, I really don't care very much about your irrational insistence that what I see is impossible.
Bruce: YOU are being irrational here, your screen burn has nothing to do with any piece of software You left your screen on too long !! dont blame anyone else.

Hands up my bad, got the wrong fella. But i still disagree wholeheartedly, theres lots of evidence of the continuing degradation of the earth's environment and as i mentioned the loss of species. "Oil is rather easy to create, we know exactly how it's formed, have for years" This is also incorrect, the real problem is it happens over hundreds of thousands/millions of years, kind of hard to recreate in a lab. So no, nobody knows for sure although we have a fairly good idea of th

Funny you should mention this. The espionage system is due a revamp in 2.0, and I believe that one of the new uses for spies is to destabilize diplomatic relations. So just wait awhile, and you may get your wish. ooo cool, do you know where else i might be able to find reliable information on the new espionage system?
