My story: I bought a new sATA DVD burner around 2 years ago. I installed a new mainboard some time later. Everything was fine except that my DVD drive was not working correctly. It did not read stuff anymore, and almost all reading processes crashed. At some point i figured out, it would work when i disconnected my second, older IDE-harddrive. While testing different things almost to insanity like reinstalling windows, checking drivers yaddayadda, finally i borrowed a v

I like GalCiv II way more than Civ4. The setting in space is just much cooler. I do not like the comic style of Civ4. Besides these issues of taste - GalCiv II is another game than Civ4. Maybe the basic system is in parallel, but you cannot compare them i think. And i believe GCII is more complex. It may be because i spent much more time with GCII and it reveals more and more of its tactical complexity when you get deeper into it. Just give it a try, at least the demo. If you are into
There isnt an option to tell the governor to upgrade improvement x to y (not being the same, telling the governor to upgrade every farm for a factory for example), is there? Would be nice because if i traded for a better, race specific technology it would be nice if i could upgrade all my own ones in one try.
Very good argumentation on the side of Mumblefratz and very little energy on my side to get deep enough into the material to be able to proof the opposite. But it leaves my opinion, one should view these topics critically, because it has important political and economical impact and has the tendency to be strongly influenced by certain interests.
Just look at this list and accept the problem isnt that clear it seems to be: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_scientists_opposing_the_mainstream_scientific_assessment_of_global_warming
Actually if you look closely into the statistical data you can obviously see that global warming is a direct effect of the shrinking number of Pirates. In fact it is the Flying Spagetthi Monster that is behind all this.
it is just a fact, that among experts the question whether global warming is really affected by atmospheric CO2 in relevant orders is not answered that easily. This to me is vlearly a topic where public opinion is formed in a way that serves a specific lobby. This is the standard defense that the tobacco companies have used for decades. The argument is that as long as there is at least one crackpot with even the most tenuous credential
I`ll just do it to save money. ^^ But at least i realize that i am not rescuing the world by it ;)
I did not read it, but i just tell you something: The whole CO2-thing in fact isnt that clear the media suggests us to be. That is the impression hearing the opinions of some profs and students involved in this topic in my university. Actually the reduction of CO2 emission has gotten so involved with money that there are is a huige industry behind it, interested in making the people believe, that reduction of CO2 emission is an important topic in controlling global warming. And this is not a
Actually Call of Duty 4 is rated M correctly i think. The modern setting implies that a political stance in the game cannot be avoided that is relevant for today. CoD5 is about a part of history, that is another thing if displayed correctly. CoD4 is just set in a fictional setting but very close to actual political situations. This is critical i think and it needs a bit of maturity and knowledge to be able to fully disconnect the game from actual politics. CoD4 just doesnt ask questio
I think a terror star would be far more valuable if it was a mobile military starbase with all the trimmings.
I call that a very nice idea... Give the TS military starbase modules and the option to join a fleet. That would be great.
. Also, this whole "go play outside" is a flawed argument. Gaming with friends will only strenghten social contact. Not playing or knowing about games is probably worse for your social contacts . Games like WOW are pretty lethal to your social life though, but you can also see the other side of the coin; many people that get addicted to these games, aren't super social to begin with. Making them

The next weapon syndrome is bad because it often means no weapons at all ^^ I can not point out enough how important it is to build something. Get these small ships with 1 attack soon. Get military starbase to amplify their attack. It is not that you should be able to pull down a whole army of an enemy he throws at you. That will not happen. You might think "they are not fast enough and not strong enough, so i have to get the hulls first and then the speed and the weapons and...". Tha
