I KILLED THE POST!! AAARRGGHH! anyways, i came up with another idea: Armistaces. slightly more authentic that way, instead of having to sign into peaces with the other races.
And if anything, ST Voyager came before the Korath were written into GalCiv2.
That's sorta my point. Stardock might have unintentionally been infriging some copyright there...
Do you mean the scientist named Korath, of the house of Monak?
i'm not sure, but i remember there was a "Korath Clan"... maybe I misuderstood but I am sure that it was a Clan of Klingons... hmmm...
Zeonis Imperialis? That's what I would call it.
I was watching some Voyager re-runs the other day and I saw an episode were Admiral Janeway talks to Klingons, part of the Korath Clan, and obtains a time-travel device to go back in time to tell her past self to investigate some readings that lead them to a Borg transport hub. This eventually leads Voyager back to Earth after two episodes... Anyone else noticed this?
But if you got into a massive, multi-planet conquest, would that not take much, much, much longer? I've got things to do, mainly destroy some Korath.
or it could go without name.... just being that big thingy on that terror star....
good points. I forgot that hydrocarbon combustion has two simple products, CO2 and H2O. Which is why i hate those comercials that say that modern vehicles produce ONLY CO2 and that their new "future car" only makes water....... Sounds like false advertising to me....
doesn't everyone? lol mine would be a little island somewhere in hawaii... somehow i would hope it were indestructible......
IF: you could create your own country, regardless of current boundries, politics etc. where would you put it and how would it be governed? Would it be a thriving democracy, a decaying empire or just your personal manor? What would it be like, to live there? ANY time period via use of a time machine, so if you wanted to go back in time and become atlantis or something like that, my rules will let you. Let's hear those ideas!!!!!!!!!
Compressed air is an interesting idea - although I do wonder it it'll suffer the same range limitations as the electric car. hand/foot pump?
although this thread is quite dead, i thought it was dead when i posted last, i find this HILARIOUS! in fact, compressed air is a very efficient form of energy storage. Germany and several other countries have been using it since the ?seventies? (that might be a bit off) In fact Scientific Ame
Me I want the invasions to be more like advance wars on the old gameboy, since the planets are already seperated into grid it shouldn't be that hard.
sorry, didn't see this until i posted... AWSOME IDEA! TIME CONSUMING BUT AWSOME! ADVANCE WARS ROCKS AND I don't really think it would work... p
love all of these ideas! especially yours, shadrac. but as for the stargate thingies... i know they are redicuously slow... and who built them? why couldn't they have used hyperdrives too? It is kinda arrogant for the game developers to assume that humans could one-up the other races like that... and even if they did, why do they have similar research speeds and ideas? if the drengin couldn't come up with something better to get at the torians... then why could we? Q: did precursors hav
Isn't this redundant, seeing as how there isn't going to be another expansion pack?
No actual feed back from OP? I wonder if he/she read any of this!
Aye, i've been reading... Thanks for the advice everyone. I think 'll try going budget this time and just drool over other computers... Did you know Apple's got an eight-core for market now?
I understand that "missing time" is a frequent side-effect of alien abduction...
Actually I told a friend about this and that was his response, "You've been abducted by aliens!" ... :)
Glad to facilitate meaningful discussion.
I doubt they'd make it that intensive... If they did, my machine couldn't run it. :SNIFF!:
This happens to me too. I just save, restart the computer, reload and the problem seems to go away. It happens to me in other games too, such as Civilization and Age of Empires... I think its a windows glitch.
Join the newest empire! The Zeonis Imperialis! Techically speaking, this empire is free - no ethical alignment, nothing. Just become part of it. It is an alternative to being part of those big, ugly empires, for now it is only a fledgeling, not even a single uploaded game... Now the empire is at the bottom of the stack, brand new, but what about in the future???? It could be bigger and grander... But at the moment, it is a rebellion against
I expect they'll be similar and/or less than DA...
How about a name that suggests wiping the system off the map? Like, Map Cleaner, Map Wiper, Stellar Windex, The Eraser, or change extraneous to Erasing :CONGRAT:
