Need A Little Help...constantly moving screen?

Hey, just got the game and have 2 questions...the first is what is the latest patch for Dread Lords, i just uploaded 1.4 from gamespot but can't seem to find anything newer? and the second question is i have a bug with the game...the screen keeps scrolling off to the right and i can't stop it no matter what? =/ i realise there are LOTS of posts here and i could spend hours trying to find a solution to this but i figure maybe this is faster and i'll be able to enjoy the game sooner...i'd appreciate any help...

I'm having the same problem. XP Pro SP2, NVidia 6800 (drivers dated October 4), Soundblaster Audigy.

Everything else works fine, just the ship preview (during map creation) spins like crazy, and the main galactic map spins and zooms so I can't actually *do* anything.

Here is my debug log:

Planets and ships spinning out of control is most generally due to the use of an Athlon 64 x2 CPU without updated CPU drivers. If this the case with your machine, download and install the AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual Core Processor Driver for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 Version (x86 and x64 exe) file found at the bottom of this page.

This happens to me too.
I just save, restart the computer, reload and the problem seems to go away.
It happens to me in other games too, such as Civilization and Age of Empires...
I think its a windows glitch.

I have no issues with any other games at all, this only happens with GalCiv2 and only after i've uploaded the 1.4 patch, everything else in the game works perfectly (so far) except for this annoying glitch that the screen insists on scrolling off the right until it reaches the edge of the universe >.< but i will try the restart technique.

I've had the scroll to the right thing happen, but mine is caused by my setup. With two screens in windowed mode it can be made to do it. usually I can keep click/grabbing the map quickly and just basically jerk it around and get it to stop. At times though only a save and reload will stop it.
