Updates will not install in Sins of a Solar Empire Stardock Forums

I downloaded the updates for sins, and they will not install. (Sins doesn't pop up under my purchased games either...???) I bought sins over a year ago now and just now got around to looking for updates. Good Alignment techs??? in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

I finally decided to go "Good" and try the techs that they get. (the defense techs) I was able to research teh armor, shields, and the missle deffense. and even though my race was fully good, I could not put the defense items onto my ships! Is this a bug? is there a patch for this? is it just me?
