Hello, Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try, uninstall Fences, reboot immediately (important), redownload latest version available in your account product download page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products . Install it, reboot immediately again. Retest it and report back. If the issue still appear, need few more details. If you disable Fences, does the issue still appear?

Hello, From my understanding, Fences doesn’t create its own separate layer in Windows. It works directly at the desktop level, essentially the last layer before your wallpaper or background. This is why it can organize icons and folders right on the desktop surface. Other applications, such as AltTabby or ObjectDock, usually operate at a higher level, overlaying or extending the interface. </p

Perhaps you're having, compatibility issue with latest Windows 11 version. As a test, do a 30 days free trial on Start11v2 and see if the issue still appear. Try that and report back. Thank you, Basj, Stardock Community Assistant
