This reminds me I should go see the 28 Weeks Later Movie.

Yeah I forgot that the comp got miniature bonuses or forgot how big they were when posting. I just kind of didn't know how to deal with fighting superior ships at the time, but someone else explained it to me in another thread. I just have to try it out in a game. I tried to print a screenshot to load to show you what the map and game looked like but couldn't find them in a folder after hitting the print screen button. Yor are by far the strongest in the game I was pla
yeah but thats like impossible with the miniaturization bonuses the comp has I think. But it would be nice though. I only have patch 1.5, I think there is like a 1.5x or something. I haven't gotten that yet. Yeah I'm hoping someone can explain it too. Also would like to know what the defense bug is.
Thanks for the info on Ships and stuff. I appreciate it. I was a bit confused about it. I'm going to have to try that stuff. How does the defense work? I understand the square root thing. But if the comp has 200 missle defense, would 600 missle attack be equal to 400 + (whatever square root of 200 is) mass driver or beam weapon attack? Another thing I'm concerned about is the defense bug. Cause I've tried two different instances of making 3 or 4 ships with all attack power
Looks like some good stuff. Are there any strategies on Ship building specifically? Right now I'm on suicidal as humans against yor and korath. The problem is our research (end of most techs) is pretty much the same now and they can make better ships and fleets than me. For example yor has dreadnaughts with around 500 to mass drivers and 100 to 200 to a defense. I've tried building small fighters and grouping them together to take out these big things but it doesn't s
Nevermind I decided to repair or uninstall and reinstall, anyways the repair fixed whatever it was so everything is fine now.
I've looked at a guide (one with a list of all weapons and stats) and from what I can tell there are quantum drivers, HD drivers, and Neutrino bullets. (weapons that once researched can be mounted onto your ships) Its not some mistake in me looking there and missing it. It's just not there. I've done it like 10 times now. I had the HD driver technology for awhile and was looking to put that technology into weapons but didn't see it on shipyard. Now that I had gotten Neutrino bullets, I
Of course I'm playing a regular game. How would I have neutrino bullets if I weren't? Anyways I'm hoping someone knows something about why this isn't working. I can't finish my game without it.
Also, should I uninstall it and reinstall it? And if I do, can I copy the saves and paste them and they still be usable?
I've just gotten this game recently, the Gold Edition Dark Avatar version. Anyways I've played some games and I notice that I can't use any of the Mass Drivers past Nano Ripper. Now it didn't matter much in the first couple games, but now I'm on suicidal and I have neutrino bullets and I kind of need to be able to install them to have a good chance of beating the game. I've tried restarting the game, and I even tried updating it, no luck. I have version 1.5 at the bott
I searched for a topic on this and I'm having the same problem. I traded for Mass Drivers all the way up to HD driver 4, and I don't see anything higher than nano ripper on the shipyard. Anyways I have the Gal Civ 2 Gold Edition Dark Avatar game. version 1.5 at bottom left screen. Anyone know what the problem is?
I couldn't believe it was this hard when you made it sound like it was pretty easy early. I'm sorry if I made this seem easy. It is easier with practice. I almost lost this game several times, and just barely skated through the early game. This could have easily been a loss. Money is your biggest problem with this, but you need to think of your empire like a giant cruise ship. You need to know where it is going long before it gets
That sucks. Well anyways I just wanted to see how his strat worked on large maps and stuff. See if he did anything differently.
Hi Wyndstar. I have a few questions in general about the all research centers and all manufacturing centers strategy. I kind of had this idea also about just building one type of building and specializing in different cities, kind of like in Civilization 4, but would never have gotten around to testing it. Didn't realize you kind of had to specialize all research on all planets till I tried it. So I was glad to see someone already have done it successfully. Anyways I've tried d
