Forgive me if this has already been reported. My search didn't turn anything up, so I'm assuming it hasn't. I believe there is an issue with the Terran economy stations. I've noticed that they details screen indicates that there is another possible module upgrade (i.e. 6/7 is indicated), but when you send a constructor the game reports that there are no more upgrades available. I can't be 100% sure, but I believe the Smart Droids module is the culprit.

Shame that there is no hype for poor beta 2A. Maybe it's a bit behind and getting lot's of last minute attention. I'm looking forward to seeing the return of the Yor. I'm also real curious what they are going to do to the Torians.....
I'd like to see the research speed turned down a bit. An option like "painfully Slow" or something similar would be great. I like nice long drawn out games, and it seems the research speed is just a tad too fast for my taste. I like to see more of the tree get get actual use before the next new thing gets researched...especially weapon and defence tech. I'd also like to see some changes made to the initial ships. The miner and colony ship are fine, but that Flagship is way too hig
I'd really like to see an option, for people like me that like slow games, to turn down the research speed even more. The current lowest setting still has me researching at under ten turns a discovery very early on. Could we see a Painfully slow or something like that? I'm talking maybe tripling or quadrupling the tech costs so it will take onger to get up the tree.
I tried to find someone posting about this, but didnt' see where it had been reported. PLease forgive me if this has already been mentioned and I just missed it. I noticed that, while playing as the Terrans, the AI races would attempt to trade one of their techs with me for my tech: Neutral Trade. I had choosen the neutral ethic route. The trade screen would show the tech they are trading to me on their side, but nothing on my side. It was as if they were affering to give me a tech
I understand that. I just know this is supposed to work and doesn't. So I'd like a fix if possible. It's designed to do this...least it sure seems that way. I may get to designing my own ships, but to start out I'd like to use the core ones...and I want them to become available when they are supposed to. I tested the miniaturization thing, but they still didn't become available.
Oh no. I may not be clear. The ship templates show up, no problem. It's just, they don't show up in the build menu...least not all of them. I know I get the StarFury, Defender, Cruiser, and Corvette. I don't get the Sniper, Missleboat, or Thunder. I've verified and I do have the required techs....just never get the ships. Now I can go into the templates section and use the templates to build the ships myself...but I don't want to have to do that. If it works for some ships it should work
Am I the only one not able to get the core ships to show up after the required techs are researched?
This seems to have been mentioned, but I can't find anyone with a fix. I'm very annoyed that some of the core ships aren't showing up in the build queue after the tech requirements are fullfilled. The templates show up, but I want them to show up in the build queue like they are supposed to. I hope I don't come across as too gripey. I absolutely love this game. It's been the best investment I've made in a long time. I'll definately be looking forward to future titles from you guys.
I hate to jump in on the "me too" wagon, but I appear to be having a problem with a crash to desktop about every 6-7 turns. I've attempted games at all the map sizes and the symptom doesn't change. I've pasted my debug.err and the smartexception data below. If anyone could help me out with this I'd really appreaciate it. I love this game, but I've found this problem to be a showstopper for me.
