You didn't have them on when you encountered that crash--the drivers in use in the debug are dated December. 101.41 was released just a couple of weeks ago. Was there some problem with the 101.41 drivers causing you to remove them? Regardless the reason you don't have them on now, the only solution for your problem is new drivers; if 101.41 has issues for you then you will need to wait until nVidia finalizes them or produces a further update. I forgot to mention but I had previously installed the101.41 beta drivers.
I keep getting game lockups to the point that I had to put autosave at every turn not to lose sanity. But now I can't load the last autosave or previous autosave because it locks instantly after loading, maybe because of the quaterly report window that pops up automatically. When I hold left-click and drag the main map, it doesn't follow the mouse pointer until I stop moving it, making it real hard to center on what I want to see.
