Map dragging problem

When I hold left-click and drag the main map, it doesn't follow the mouse pointer until I stop moving it, making it real hard to center on what I want to see.

With my older PC it used to move the map freely with mouse movements. Now I have a:

HP Pavilion Media Center TV PC m7760n with includes Intel core duo and Vista Home Premium. I added a nvidia 7600 GT OC graphic card.

I also downloaded the 101.41 beta drivers from nvidia.

I bought the Gold Edition and the same problem appears in both Dark Avatar and Dread Lords. Turning down graphics to nothing doesn't change anything.

This has been reported by other as well, and is on the list of things to look into to see if it's something we can fix, or if it is nVidia's Vista drivers.

The others that have reported it also noted that the issue went away if you minimize the main panel (using the downward pointing triangle button above the minimap).

That almost makes it sound like a problem with the Desktop X code, or however you want to call it. Do you have reliable reports on how that product behaves under Vista?
