I had some problems with my serial number but eventually got that resolved. I since downloaded 1.4 and started my first game with intent to use the Metaverse. When I get to the end (winning) and try to post on the metaverse site I get an error. (I set up an account, have password and all that). The error is comes after the Yes/No to post and it says: (11) Your game submission was rejected because the application serial number does not match the serial number on the Metave

I meant by more than two choices, I had more than two influence bonus choices.

Can someone give a short explanantion about the metaverse. I connected to metaverse yesterday and played a game, thinking that it would be tracked. But the power went out. Will it still show up on my online record? Or am I missing something?

Thanks a lot. A little shocked at how linear it is. I could have sworn that when I went to upgrade an influence base that I had more than two choices. Oh well...

In looking at past posts, the difference between the two has been a problem. I wanted to see if they mande any improvements in 1.4. Can someone explain the differences? Will guard attack any ship or just a ship that you are at war with? Can you place a fleet on a starbase and have them "guard" such that an opponent has to destroy the fleet before they can get to the starbase?

I've been having trouble planning out my starbases and the associated techs to get there. Anyone have or know of a link to a starbase module "tree". I am particularly interested in pre-requirements (must have this module installed before you can get that module) and the associated technologies required. Thanks

I got a reply to do a manual install. I tried it and sent results of error back Wed, as instructed. What do I do now?

Same story. It Rejects my serial number if I install patch 1.4. Sent emails to tech support Friday and got no reply Monday.
