go to www.3dgladiators.com forums, they have very good high poly battlestar galactica and other models for download(you have to register, make at least 5 posts to beable to download them) the only thing is they are in lightwave but you can allways convert them... take alook at www.scifi-meshes.com they also have great models there(need to register). thanx again and enjoy the meshes you can find there!

thanx aggiejohn, but i finally manage to put the textures into just one file and exported it to the game, the size, hardpoints and direction i've managed to do and i do have the b5mod creators tutorial, thank you guys for all your help!!! now i can finally play galciv2 with my space above and beyond earth alliance!

in case you're willing to, it's just that ship, the other already came with one-texture only and i was able to put them in game, and they work. i spent hours trying to make the texture but i couldn't do it(i guess i just can't learn to do it)... please, it's just that ship...
i couldn't map it, i don't understand nothing of it, are you in the disposition of doing it and in 2 more ships alike?? (just asking)
oh, so the problem is with the textures!!! i'm so dumb... so, i can just have 1 texture file, so i guess i have to try (i never did it) and uvwmapping it. thanx for all your trouble kryo and thank you for your help logicsequence

i have autodesk's 3ds max 8 but i don't see how that should affect it. anyway, do you know anything i can try to do in studio max to make the mesh work??

i extracted a mesh from a homeworld mod and then used it in studio max 8 and it was all ok, but when i converted to an.x file and went to see it in game it was showed all messed up, can you tell me what i can do to make it work right?
i'm trying to put a ship model in game and downloaded a someone else model from the net already with textures and went to 3d studio max 8 (to make the hardpoints) but i can't seem to find a way to view (or put) the textures in 3d studio max 8, can somebody explain me how? thanx in advance
