Man, I wish I could join in with this joyful 'rebirth', but I couldn't keeping playing on my computer. It just getting old and it takes an hour+ to load up even a small game, and I couldn't do much in the ship editor either. Hopefully though we will be getting a new computer soon and that will work until graduation when I'll get a laptop (possibly an Alienware! I'm excited about that.) But I do want to play again, just not to the point I get frustrated.

This might have been asked before but I don't know so just tell me if there is already a post asking this. I was looking at some of the post and people have been saying that after using editors that their game crashes, or it dosen't load, or when they try to do somethin it dosen't work. So I just wanted to know whhat exactly the editors do? How do I give my custom races their own tech trees? What makes ship editor different than the shipyard? How do I properly use all the editors? Where c
Finally, I'd like to see Dogfights back on the air. I don't know why this was cancaled; it was the best show the History Chanel.
I'd say keep an eye on that because with the Dogfights of the Future episode it looks like they got a new engine to render, so they might just be needing more time. The show also needs dogfight suggestions to recreate so if you have any and the people who participated are still around, e-mail them and see what happens. As for shows I wa
Has anyone see how the Korx do in late game?
My Korx actually get pretty far in my games, they're usally not the strongest, but they are descent. Mine usally get around by colonizing some but not worrying to much about it, and then trade and try to develop all the trade goods, and typically, the really big ships (battleships and beyond), they market them off to anyone with good relationships, techs or money, and that are a bit weaker than the most militraistic races. I've

Yes I know where they SHOULD BE but they weren't there. After I posted they were there again , but I was frightened for a while they actually were not there. Kryo I'll post in the bug section for that resolution thing. And my computer just automatically displays debug as a .txt for me, but I know its a .err.

This might not be exactly what I should answer but I think it still helps. If your trying to get a better ship but a tech takes too long (40-200 weeks, or something like that) you can actually research in incraments. Just start the research, after a bit switch to one with less time, then research a little more, then change... just keep doing that. The game actually remembers your progress on the tech and sometimes it still slowly goes up when not researching. And researching less time consuming

I posted a problem on the bug thread and was told to get the debug.txt, there's just one tiny little problem...my Twilight folder has NO debug.txt. This concerns me greatly, ecspecially if I hit a major problem and really need. I was also going to move pictures and logos over to Twilght but the same problem arose, I have NO folder for portraits or logos. Now I'm really getting scared. Could I be missing anything else? Such as a vital program for Twilight to get something done? So, can I p
Just noticed in your above post that you're running an original Pentium? It's surprising you can run the game at all. I've gotten that a bit then I looked at the bottom of the tower and I saw a sticker that had three upside down green i, so the 1 which I only overheard, was probally just an exaggeration, but this computer is older than most running. Turns out the problem was just alot of dust so we cleaned it and it's working fine now. My debug.txt hasn't shown up in my twilight

Alright, my reseting problem is getting so bad I had to make this post on my Wii, which is very excrutiating, so I can't get a debug file. More news is that Microsoft just told us we're not genuine. This could be just because of age, but it seems more like Twilight is killing my computer. So I need help with this because I'm only 16 and I know pretty much nothing of actual specs on computers. If it's because this 9 year old computer finally can't defy the rules of requirments, then someone pleas

I just got my whole turning off problem but saw that my quota was limited to 3KB so I set it to unlimited so hopefully that fixes it. I've also got this really annoying message that says my resolution is something like 640x480 or like that but I just opened my properties window and my current resolution is 1280x960. I hasn't messed with gameplay in DA, but I just want to stop seeing the message everytime I start the game.

I don't think I could get a debug for this but I downloaded the game yesterday and first it worked, then I went to the metaverse and tried to load some custom races, but they weren't there so I quit (because when I click on meta new game button dissapers same the other way around) and I opened again and went to new game to write down all the races information but my computer just reset while i was writing. I repeated but when I loaded the race my computer shut off and would not turn on for a cou

I notice people pointing out the delay (good, bad, or indifferent) but I haven't really felt this mystical effect. Maybe we all need to try what I do which is that I've pretty much scheduled out my gaming to about 8 OTHER games. Just like the stupid halo freaks that think it's the only game out there, you shouldn't be blind-sighted to just one. An example to my fact is my picture, look at it, it's R.O.B. from Super Smash Brothers Brawl! (he was originally a plastic robot with light sensing eyes

OK this probablly should be in the Sins of a Solar Empire forums but I thought that you guys could help and anyone who works at Stardock could get in touch with that team. So here's the story, I'm at my cousins condo and we were playing SSE and wanted to do online but we had to register, so since I had a Stardock.net account so I registered his game first, we thought we'd both be able to register it on both accounts, but of course that didn't work. So now my account has his game

I've noticed this too, and it almost seems like the AI just loves to have everything colonized, especially when it's an empire that seems to want to control through influence. I kind of find it annoying, I mean I get colonizing but there is eventually a point where it's really not worth it in the long run and the AI dosen't seem to acknowledge that when they should.
Just got it for christmas. pretty neat, although if you ask me, they need to put out more games for it.
there do need to be more games but most developers go AAAHHHH!!! ORIGINALITY and go hide and some multi-platformers Nintendo can see that the control scheme for that game just sucks. some also live with the myths that nintendo is a kiddy company or the Wii is incapable, but thats not actually true so more should be coming
Ermmmm, some events can be prevented by having good espionage on other AIs. I'm not sure, it this event falls into that category, but it's good idea to have at least moderate (level-2) espionage on your strongest neighbours.
that only applies to the one where your ambassador insults a waitress and lowering your crime, raising morale, and i think influence has something to do with this event but the wannabe assasains can't really be

actually everyone EXCEPT the terrans do start out with that and besides it's too easy to get (on average 2-3 weeks) so it should be replaced or have more of a use than HOORAY you see white dots on the mini map.
