Just because a watery tart handed you a scimitar doesn't make for a basis of government! I blow my nose at you!

Not a Python fan? Take him to the comfy chair! Neh! Neh! And bring us a shubbery....
Couldn't they just leave it alone and just give it the title? CMON!, it was found in 1930 by Clyde W. Tombaugh, they could of at least mercifully left it as a novelty planet. I like it! Not dwarf planet - novelty planet!
It should be "planette". And who cares about a PQ 0 planet, anyway?
I would think that the AI would have to adjust based on changing sensor caps, and I don't know if that is possible. Should the game lobotomize itself based on the machine its running on? And will the new Stardock Ultimate Computer be available as a download, or do they sen it to me?
I like the game balance for battles just fine. It just means you have to learn to beat the game, and I enjoy that challenge. I have read lots of comments about how the combat system should work. Most of them seem to be "I wish GalCav 2 played like MOO3, or SE4, or whatever". It doesn't. It plays like GalCiv2, and you need to learn how to beat it. I tried building ships like I built in SE4, and the game chewed them up. Battle success depends on choice of construction, which depends on ma
You know, I've read a lot of these 'wishlists' of what people would like to see, and I would tend to agree with Better Diplomacy Better AI More Races and more individuality and depth to all of the races. More Hulls/component designs, and with that bonuses and penalties with having a certain hull design over another. and a few others I saw in there as wel
I haven't played a campaign game yet. I got my butt kicked in small universes a few times while I was figuring it out, and was getting frustrated until I built my own colony & constructor ships. Now I am fully exploring the mysteries of sleep deprivation with this game....(yawn)
Wouldn't the AI form alliances if you are in that much of a lead? One of the things that is interesting in the game is the different victory condition. Or are you only playing for a military win? One of the reasons I stopped playing Space Empires IV is that I had it beat and the endgame becomes boring. I haven't found that true with GC2 yet, but I haven't tried it on a smarter setting than challenging. Maybe the AI realizes it will lose and won't from alliances at a higher level?
