Ok so, I started up a game and selected all of my options. The new game loaded - then, when my map appeared I couldn't see any planets or anomalies etc. In their place was just an icon of the real thing (like when you zoom all the way out and see icons for planets, ships, asteroid fields etc). I should mention that just before I loaded a new game, I fooled around with the map editor for TA. I didn't save anything

I can't create a desktop shortcut. I have to play the game from stardock. If I have no launcher, then I guess I can't use cheats?

I bought it online as well, but I had to launch the Stardock Downloader and it started installing/downloading immediatley. You will get a cd, if you paid for that feature, your bill will be higher than 29.99 if you did, if not, then just 29.99. I'm not sure how much the S&H was, since I did not go with that option.
