I don't like violence in games when its particularly gratuitous (like God of War or Mortal Kombat) or glorifies real-world violence (like GTA). Not saying its causes people to be psychos, but I do think its tasteless. I also wonder if those games can twist people's perceptions of real-world violence, so we'll get new generation of voters who think

Actually Kyro would probably be hitting the spot here.. this is my bro's temp desktop and it runs an old Gforce 2.. my computer is in the shop but runs a stealth diamond pro.. so I should probably nab that other than the ship textures the game runs just fine
So far when playing the game I've noticed my ships and ground combatants have absolutley no texture.. they're like floating shapes of color.. and look like $#!t.. as do the rest of all the other races.. is that normal or are the ships supposed to look like something more than floating lego constructs.. I figured it was in the alias option.. but I cant get it above 1x.. perhaps someone could help me.. thanks

no no not at all I just want to know if I can use custom racial pictures and logos will that prompt the cheating flag to log itself into the metaverse game?
So I can actually use ship appearance mods in the metaverse to? now that's pretty sweet.. see I have no actual desire to use tech mods and whatnot.. but after having to replace some of my favorite enemies in MoO2 because when custom making a race I usually took their pictures.. well that got annoying.. but I can use ship appearence mods and it will be okay with SDC mods/devs hmm? that'll be cool.. now all I need to do is go find a ship appearance mod hehe.. hmm

Can I use custom race pictures and logos while playing metaverse games and be able to legally submit them? or will the metaverse rain the fires of hell upon me for trying to use any mod, no matter how insignificant to game play? I thought I saw somewhere on this site a mention about that metaverse actually having a map of sorts that shows the "territory" that certain empires have carved out among other things.. well maybe I'm crazy for even thinking that I saw such a post from a player or mentioning from amod but could anyone confirm the existance of such a thing? And if it does exist surely a link to the map itself would be very generous catch you all later
Actually Stardocks offered me a replacement Key for a lowly 20$, so it seems that's the best I can do, which is better than another 50$ hehe.. thanks for your help all.. and I'll be joining the conquest for the Galaxy soon enough

Well I purchased the CD's about 2 months ago and then had to move to Washington State.. well I had the CD's shipped to me but when they arrived they were broken and at the time I thought I had basically lost the 40 some odd dollars I spent on them so I threw everything away.. well it has come to my attention that I can download the game even though the CDs are gone.. the problem there is I dont have the serial number and the one time I installed the game I dont remember it asking me to
