I'm giving you a bump Captain Yar, because I am having a similar issue When I try to either buy or build a Gravity Acceleator, my game ALWAYS crashes I can go on though the game and not buy or build it, but what do I do if the AI does? UPDATE I found out that the same ship, the Romulan Valdore class Warbird, has the same issue if you save it as a large design also. So, after reading the posts, I tried out some stuff I saved my game with a different name and reopened the new save using the cheat keys. Then I made new ship designs, two each for the Valdore class as both large and huge. One of each design had beam weapons only one at each hard point, while the second designs had mutiple b

I am having a problem viewing some of the beam weapsons on my ships in full battles. I am using Kryo's Hull System Mod playing TA. Along with the mod, I am also using some ship designs from the Star Trek mod that I have added to the Kryo mod as hulls The problem I am having is that I have been trying to make the Valdore class Romlan Warbird as a huge hull, and I have been trying to add beam weapons to it by using the ten hard points in one cluster
In my game, the Terrans have a lot of planets, yet all they have for ships is a single Defender in orbit for each planet, but none of them have any weapons, just high sheilds against beam weapons and nothing else. The Sol star system is under siege, because the Terrans peaceful took over the entire Dominon Of Krox, and now had to deal with the remains of the Krox fleet, including battleships, becoming pirates and attcking Earth and other Terran worlds
I have been playing with the GC2 map editor, making cool maps for future games. But I have found a problem I need help with. I want to make a map so that the Terran Alliance is one of my opponents. But the problem I am having is that I want them to have the actually Earth.png to show up as Earth and no just a random planet generated by the map editor. I am having a problem with trying to remove ships in a saved game My problem is that I wanted to take a large sized ship and redo it as a huge ship without losing the design or the name at all, so I delete the large design in both ships and templates, but this does not seem to work. So far I have gone so far as to delete all ship files with the name "Imperial War Hawk" from all versions I have of GC2 but to no avail. The main issue itself is that

They are not running from C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\Twilight\Mods Instead they are running from C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\Mods, but they do seem to be running okay How can I get the game to run them from C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\Twilight\Mods, or do I even need to?

Okay, I had been using the older version of Kryo's Hull System Mod for GC2:DA and had copied and pastes all the files from the Star Trek for DA Beta mods, because let's face it, the Romulan Empire has by far the coolest star ships IMHO. Okay , I am no mod designer, but this came to me and I just thought it might be a cool idea If you wanted to play a game wihtout the Terran Alliance in it, if there could be a mod that would make them at least a minor race in the game, using the Sol system as it's home of course Any thoughts on this?
