This might sound like a stupid question, but will we be able to post Beta DA games to the metaverse? or will that provision come later? Ras try stepping up the difficulty of the games you play. I normally only set one or two races at the higher CPU difficulty setting and leave teh others low, so that they become mop-up canon fodder for me once I have nailed the big guys (I usually choose the Iconians and the Drengin as my major bad guys and the rest I normally leave at around 'bright' or 'intelligent'. I'm pretty sure you don't get cheat flagged for going back and loading a previous save to complete a game, although only having it done once or twice, I am pretty sure a few of the games I have posted to the 'verse haven't accrued any type of 'cheat flag'. LOL, yep, Stardock should approach Banks about a Culture based game, it would be awesome. Steelmeister - I suggest you start with Consider Phlebas and go from there, Phlebas is at the beginning of the culture, before it had complete galaxy domination, pretty awesome stuff. Anyone here read any Iain M Banks Sci Fi? There are some fantastic books amongst his sci-fi collection, namely any book that is focused around his culture universe. The concepts and Idea's are off the chart cool, and I think those of you who dig the scale of what Gal Civ 2 represents, would really appreciate some of the stories in these books. It would seem that the difficulty level at which you have your opponents seems to affect the final score as well, i.e. if only one is selt at gifted the and the rest set much lower the score won't be as crazy as if more of your opponents are ranked at a higher level.
