Ok, sorry you got banned and all, but you just really made me want to try Eve based on what you said about it.
Step one: Get TotA.
What took you so long?
Same problem here. Invisible ships every now and again.
I am not sure when this was put in, but my only choice was to cancel my alliance with the Altarians and remain allied with the Terrans, or continue my alliance with the Altarians and declare war on the Terrans.
So yesterday I was playing Twilight on a medium size map and all is going well. I had just about crushed the evil Drengin and I had set up alliances with the Terrans, the Arceans, and the Altarians. I was at the same time in a shooting war with pretty much everyone else. So then the damn Terrans declared war on the Altarians. It was at this moment that I wished there was an option to try to talk these two down from going to war, based on your diplomacy or something. The Altarians had

Didn't work for me. Nuts.
Just happily waiting for my email.
Nuts. I have classes today.
I like it a lot! Though I also think having the descriptions in the first person are cool too. Makes it feel like you are personally being told about new research instead of feeling like you are reading the history of it. Either way though... I am just curious about something. If you are the "good" Terrans and you liberate a Drengin planet, would the people accept the ways of the Terrans? I don't buy that! Either the Terrans would have to allow the planet to be run as normal or it would
^^^ That actually sounds like fun. I am going to try that now. God I would hate too many habitable planets though... Talk about a logistics nightmare!
As mentioned in a thread I started, I want more diplo options as well! More interaction with the AI would be great!
^^ I like your idea there.
The eagle never lost so much time as when he submitted to learn from the crow.
I like it!
I just wanted to say that I really like how diplomacy and influence has evolved since the early days of GalCivII. I for one am a peaceful ruler who will generally never strike out at another empire. I focus on keeping the people happy and rich, as well as making key alliances that will unite the galaxy. Of course if attacked, we will fight back with a fierce fleet, but only in defense. As I mentioned in another thread, I just finished a game on a gigantic map where my civilization neve
I just want to say that I love diplomacy games myself and would appreciate any further work on this area of the game. My last game I was on a gigantic map and I didn't fire a single shot at anyone until I was 7 turns away from winning. The fools turned on me and our fleets were forced to defend themselves.
Just saying that for me, there has never been a game that had such a low crash rate! I can't even remember the last time my game crashed on me.
Awesome guys! I am off to try it out.
Good and evil is a man made concept and doesn't really have any meaning. What is good to one may be evil to another. It is totally realative.
