i think thats a great idea, user slectable minor races. how many you want, maybe even select which ones? and as for the i league, BEFORE i updated, i saw the I-league 2 or three times, and minor races were abundant, but since i upgraded, as i said, the minors are all but extinct.... and th Ileague? pffffft, forget about it. i'm still working onm some of the minor coding on the, well, minor races, and if i figure out how to make them actually some what intelligent, i will sh
also, try clearing your cookies and temp internet files. to do this, go to your "help" section on your Bowser and look it up (not going to telly ou how, because methods vary with different browsers) hope it works! should... -Grae
that happens to me once in a while. just click "refresh" in your web browser, then, if a prompt come up asking to "retry", or "cancel", prs retry. do this as many times as needed. let me guess.... dial up? if so, i know the pain.... -Grae
hmmm, not quite sure why its doingthat, but heres something that you can try; go to your stardock/TotalGaming/galciv2/Data/English folder and find the "Custom Planets.xml". FIRST, make a backup of this file and save/copy it to another file (backing up stuff =always good). Then, open it with note pad, (or whatever youer default word pad is)check to see if your custom planets are there; A) if they are, simply change the size (ex: 0.60
well, like i said, is it just me, or are the minor races almost completely gone or rare with the addittion of the the V1.11 patch? (think thats the right one) seriously, when i start a new game, i pick a large galaxy, maybe 3 or 4 additional races, and when all is explored, there is either only one, (MAYBE two) or no minor races.... i mean its one thing to make them competely dumb and not enable the to colonize (which i THINK i fixed, but can't test cause the buggers are so
try Kyro's ship mod in the library; BEST. MOD. ok, i'm trying to reconfigure a main race (the Drengin) and, i thought i had it! i have the main pic, their name, alighnment, homeworld, the whole nine yards completely changed, EXCEPT the trade screen. you know, where you press "speak to" and their trade pic pops up and you exchange techs, money, smart alicky remarks, that kinda stuff... i KNOW its changed correctly in the raceconfig.xml, but the ugly beast keeps comin up when i trade with him; her; it; whatever. <br
i recently downloaded the galciv2 bonus-pack (Enable-GalCiv2-Collectors-Edition) and it keeps telling me that i need the "standalone update installer" found at stardock central or this website. i've checked both, and can't find anything like that in either... someone help?
