!!BLAST!!! FOILED AGAIN!!!

race config question....

ok, i'm trying to reconfigure a main race (the Drengin) and, i thought i had it!

i have the main pic, their name, alighnment, homeworld, the whole nine yards completely changed, EXCEPT the trade screen. you know, where you press "speak to" and their trade pic pops up and you exchange techs, money, smart alicky remarks, that kinda stuff...

i KNOW its changed correctly in the raceconfig.xml, but the ugly beast keeps comin up when i trade with him; her; it; whatever.

someone help? please? anybody?!?! why won't the ugly drengin thing go away???

When you go to trade with them it plays a video of their face instead of just a picture. Unless you know how to edit bik files there's nothing you can do about it. Except maybe delete it, but that just might bring up an error warning and shut down the game.

Actually, I'd guess it would just show the image, like with the minors.

Test it by renaming the Drengin video file. If it crashes, rename it back to what it was.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! I DID IT!!!!! THE DRENGIN ARE NO LONGER THE DRENGIN!!! thanx for the suggestions! what finnally made it work, is moving the .bik files to another folder (my backup) all i can really say is: yippy!
