I think the problem is my copy of vanilla galciv2 isn't registered. Yes, you must have GC2 registered on your account in order to download DA. If you initially registered it on a different email address from the one you bought DA with, contact [email protected] about it and they can merge the two accounts for you. I have a problem. I cant download DA. I bought galciv2 from retail. I bought Dark avatar via stardock central totalgaming. But it doesn't show up. I registered da and eveything. I reinstalled well trying to fix another bug(details in another post). And now it has glitched up. I cant play the game. It asks me to activate my game and it wont take my serial. This is the worst bug i have ever seen. As soon as i go to start a new game, the program closes. Everytime. And i didn,t even do anything that could have caused it. A little help please?
veiw your shortcuts properties and add cheat to the end of the path. Then ingame use clt + _ whatever. But i find its funner without cheats...
You just hold down clt and press r or wahtever simple. Or do you mean you cant add the cheat thing? Go to the shortcut, right click, select preerties and there it shold be then add the cheat line.

Hmmmm well... i think we could make seperate tech trees by making a special tech that gives that race its unique technologys. They could start of with the tech. It's price would be insanely high so that no other race could research it, but it could still be stolen from that race. What do you think? Oh and it would pretty much be the same tech tree except for unique techs.

Slow down there. So these are the omega ship packs right? Did you copy the contents of inside the folder into mydocuments/mygames/galciv2/ships? Are you usig the right ship style? DID YOU INSTALL THE OMEGA MOD? Do you have collecters edition? Do you have version 1.11? or version 1.2?
Missile Suggestions: Rockets, Concussion(sp?) missiles, proton torpedoes, Cluster missiles, Super missiles, mega missiles, ultra missiles? oh and for evil side: Force Missiles. I suppose i could do some xml too. I have an idea to replace the mass drivers, ion cannons. They could be the weakest but be very hard to defend against. Comments? The defenses for lasers and missiles they have now would still work.

I wonder if a GUI modder could, through Desktop X, allow for more than 6 ship types to be displayed? Very probable. Someone modded the race statistics screen to show ten races instead of 9.
